Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010's irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass' (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation.

The holidays will pack an extra punch this year as Kick-Ass 2, the second installment in the irreverent action-comedy franchise, comes to Blu-ray™ Combo Pack including Blu-ray™, DVD, Digital HD with UltraViolet™ and On Demand on December 17, 2013, from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The film will also be available on Digital HD on December 3, 2013. In addition to more than an hour of behind-the-scenes featurettes, filmmaker commentary, and extended scenes, the Blu-ray™ Combo Pack also comes with an exclusive alternate opening.

Kick Ass 2 was alright but failed to capture the magic that the original had. I been trying to pin point where they went wrong but I can't.

The cinematography for starters makes the movie look more Direct to DVD and they should have had Jim Carrey in it for much longer.
