PETE: Thanks man! :) I cant actually remember it happenning like this in the past, especially not with two big movies like these! We sometimes get things earlier than you guys but for the most part we're the ones waiting...I'm not complaining though, lol! April is going to be one hell of a month!

Does anyone really, honestly expect the audience to give a rat's testicle that Evans was Human Torch?

1. The FF movies are hardly remembered by the general audience. And if they are, it's probably not the fondest of memories (hint: they were poorly received)

2. Evans is not iconic for the role the way Jackman is for Wolverine, Tobey is for Spidey, etc. His role was equivalent to Hannibal King's in Blade 3. Reynolds is getting away with King, Deadpool, and Green Lantern.

3. Captain America is absolutely nothing like Human Torch. Johnny's the party boy center of attention, Cap's the stoic soldier.

4. Evans fits all the requirements for the role. Serious? Yes. Watch Sunshine for f*cks sake. Charismatic? Yes would be an understatement. Likeable? Yes. Square jawed? Yes. Blue eyed? Yes. Great build? Yes. Good height? Yes. Has range? Yes.

5. The FF franchise is being rebooted.

6. The FF movies were shit. Evans deserves a chance to actually be in a good CBM for once, and not be marred by Jessica Alba's awful rendition of Sue, the embarrassing, horrific handling of Dr. Doom, terrible effects, a mind numbingly dumb script, and the director of Barbershop.

Saying that Evans can't be Cap simply because he was Torch is stupid, close minded, and reaching.
