This BATMAN: ZERO YEAR Statue From Prime 1 Studio Is Insanely Detailed

Do you think WB. will ever release a script that follows the revamped origin story for the Caped Crusader depicted in Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, Greg Capulo and Rafael Albuquerque's Batman: Zero Year?

Batman: Zero Year was a fresh, modern take on The Dark Knight's origin story, released as a year-long crossover event in DC Comic's New 52 era. Though there are several similarities with Batman: Year One, the origin story is much more streamlined and cinematic, leading to the question of whether we'll ever see an adaptation on the screen. The Gotham TV series attempted a loose adaptation of the comic in its fifth season but omitted several key arcs and characters

If you're a fan of the crossover event and would love to see a big screen take on Snyder and Tynion's epic adventure, then this 25" Prime 1 Studios statue will definitely pique your interest. It's insanely detailed and also comes in a Standard and Deluxe version. The Standard Version retails for $1,549, while the Deluxe version offers an extra right-hand equipped with a grappling hook and retails for $1,599. Pre-orders are currently available and require a 10% deposit.

Prime 1 Studio is proud to present UMMDC-01: Batman Zero Year from DC Comics. The story is intended to redefine the origin of Batman in The New 52, being a fresh story unconnected to other interpretations. Before the Batcave and Robin, The Joker and the Batmobile, there was ZERO YEAR. The Riddler has plunged Gotham City into darkness. A younger Bruce Wayne who returns to challenge a city that’s already being crushed under the weight of a new kind of crime. How will a young Dark Knight bring his beloved hometown from the brink of chaos and madness and back into the light? This Ultimate Museum Masterline Batman Zero Year statue riding on his bike comes with an extra interchangeable right-arm holding the Crossbow. The Exclusive version of UMMDC-01EX: Batman Zero Year includes an additional right-hand holding a Grapple Hook. Batman Fans don’t miss your chance to own this Batman on his bike into your collections.

So is it Year One or Zero Year? I mean it is clearly Zero Year, yet it says Year One in the title and article...

I love Zero Year. A perfect modern take on Batman's origin.

7th picture looks EXACTLY like Arnold Schwarzenegger under the cowl.

Great piece, kinda pricey. Too bad it wasn’t me who won the power ball. I’ll get it next time

Batman in a t-shirt, with exposed biceps, riding a motorcycle with a crossbow on his shoulder? Somewhere Zack Snyder just got a boner.

@santoanderson - I got that same vibe. Was this...a popular story in the comics? I remember not finishing it.

It looks so detailed. You can tell much of it has to be made by hand. For $1549, that is a good deal.

Pretty sure the sand mixture used to 3D print this didn't cost $1500.

Zero Year is an entertaining story, but Year One is way superior and much more cinematic, hands down.

The one thing I liked about Affleck was his size. I don't want to see a "body builder" as Batman in live-action, but I like when they at least have intimidating size whether it be height or some bulk.
