BLACK DYNAMITE SELLS OUT AGAIN

Second printing of "Slave Island" comic sells out.

Neo-1970's Blaxsploitation icon, Black Dynamite has sold out again. According to the official Black Dynamite Facebook page, the second printing of the 48 page comic has sold out after reaching #2 on Amazon.com's best selling Graphic Novels: Superheroes catagory.

Fans craving their next Black Dynamite fix should set their eyes on San Diego ComicCon in less than two weeks. Friday, July 22 will see a Black Dynamite: The Animated Series" panel along with a sneak peak of the animated pilot. Creators and voice talent will answer questions. Executive producer Carl Jones (The Boondocks) and director Scott Sanders (Black Dynamite) are set to appear, in addition to writer and star Michael Jai White, voice actor Kym Whitley, and writer/voice actor Byron Minns, all of whom also starred in the live-action feature film Black Dynamite.

Saturday, July 22 will feature an opportunity to pick up a free copy of the now sold-out BLACK DYNAMITE: SLAVE ISLAND one-shot at the Adult Swim booth (#3949), then swing by to have it signed by author and animated series Co-Executive Producer Brian Ash (The Boondocks), Animated Series Executive Producer Carl Jones (The Boondocks), director Scott Sanders (Black Dynamite) and writer/voice actor Byron Minns (Black Dynamite).

A limited number of copies of SLAVE ISLAND will also be available for sale at the Ape Entertainment booth (#1804)
