2012 is here and it’s time to get some more Marvel Villains on the big screen! I’m picking obscure but fascinating characters that some of you may not know about and I’m picking actors that could bring something to these characters making them legends in the Marvel cinematic universe. The villains, in my opinion, are there to steal the show and if they done their job right, we should leave the theater feeling very uncomfortable and impressed!
10. Cardiac-Delroy Lindo
Lindo has played many different types on the silver screen. He has an intimidating swagger that a lot of actors imitate. His role as an anti hero in HEIST is mostly what I’m basing this cast upon. The character Cardiac doesn’t believe himself to be a villain. Lindo is great at making you believe in his character. Don’t eat his sesame cake either!
9. Bastion-Michael Biehn
I seen him picked as Deathstroke and Cable and even an older Captain America, but I think this suits him better. He has a higher tone to his voice that you wouldn't want on those gruff characters and it’s important for Bastion’s monologuing as well.
8. Titania-Gianna Michaels
I needed a beautiful big girl who looks like she could be a bitch for this role and I couldn’t think of any other one that could bring justice to this character. This is the role that would pull away from that other genre of film making. She is equally as sexy as she is tough. And she is sexy.
7. Batroc-Romain Duris
I admit I’m not too familiar with this guys work but I watched a couple trailers and interviews he did and he is very arrogant. I think he would be a great Batroc if he added a few pounds of muscle, which is pretty easy to do in Hollywood.
6. Sivermane-Clint Eastwood
I thought Old Man Logan was the only role that Eastwood could play at his advanced age, but I was wrong. He is perfect for old gangster Manfredi and who wouldn’t want to see Clint all done up in cybernetics!
5. Scorpio-Omar Epps
Nick Fury’s bad brother is something I think will eventually come into play as his popularity grows. I would keep the Sam Jackson “Ulitimate” Fury and have someone as intimidating as he can be. I would be interesting to see Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D take on the Zodiac in a movie without the Avengers. It isn’t likely that we will find an action actor that is older than Jackson so I’m going with this Fury as the younger brother. Omar Epps has similar features and looks like he could be Jackson’s brother.
4. The Owl-Russel Crowe
I’m glad Crowe got fat! He is exactly what I want for this mean Daredevil villain. He has the chops to pull it off and now he has the look. It was either him of a fat John Travolta.
3. Joystick-Hayden Panettiere
This little spitfire of a woman is exactly what I was looking for when I started thinking about Joystick. She has the right height, build and attitude for this arrogant villainess.
2. Mad Thinker-Jack Nicholson
I picture the Mad Thinker as a much older man than Reed Richards. Nicholson was a great Joker back in the 80’s but his incredible acting ability would bring this under used character to a whole new audience. The Thinker could be a very frightening villain if he had the right guy behind it.
1. Arcade-Scott Thompson
This character has an annoying sense of humor. So does this actor. I would also want to update the character and make him as formidable as I can. Thompson seems to be able to add that factor to this character. To be honest Thompson looks like a comic book character.
