RorMachine- Hey CBMers! We had a fantastic response to the competition with well over 1000 comments (spanning over 9 pages) and almost 100 entries! Believe me when I say that coming up with the top 10 finalists was REALLY difficult. Shaman and I debated back and forth and back again but ultimately we agreed that we had to stick to our initial guidelines and choose the people that looked most like the characters they picked, as opposed to who had the coolest costumes and props or just how bad they wanted it! Below are the 10 contestants we felt deserved the top spots. If you didn't make the top 10, or didn't get your pic in before the deadline, don't worry. We will be running another photo-op contest (with a different twist!) next month, so keep your eyes peeled. But this one still ain't over of course!
Shaman- Too true, Ror! Hell, my neck’s still aching from that top turnbuckle piledriver you gave me over our “friendly debate”. Anyhoo, here’s where the REAL fun begins! Every CBMer and their mothers (as long as they have their own accounts of course) have now one week to vote on not one but THREE finalists they feel resemble their chosen comic book character the most. There are no polls so be sure to submit your votes in the comments section below. The votes must be entered by Friday, September 24th at midnight CBM time. Do you have any idea what that means?! That’s right, all ten finalists have till then to “persuade” you through photoshopped movie posters, cool cosplay pics, special favours or even trash talk for all to enjoy! Anything (legal) goes!!! However NO, you cannot vote for yourself and NO, you cannot vote for the same person more than once. Ror and I alone will tally the votes in the week that follows the deadline so try not to change your votes in several comments and in doing so, making our lives a living hell. If the need of altering your vote ever arises, just edit your first vote comment! All three equal winners will be announced once the portraits are done as a special surprise reveal extravaganza!
