DC Based Properties/ Warner Bros

Average Score: 52%
(Rather Coincidental)

Marvel (All Studios)

Average Score: 48%

20th Century Fox

Average Score: 57%

Sony

Average Score 59%

Paramount and Disney

Average Score 71%

When it comes to all studios, DC takes the cake by 6%. The best studio is Paramount/Disney beating Sony by 12%. Only 6 have ever passed the threshhold of 90%, those being Superman, The Dark Knight, Spiderman 2, Iron Man, Avengers, and Days of Future Past (with The Dark Knight, Days of Future Past and Spiderman 2 being tied for the top spot). Paramount/ Dinsey has only had 3 films to pass the 70s, Fox has had 4, Sony has had 2, Warner Bros has had 8! Marvel has only had roughly 5 more movies than DC. The lowest rated movie was Super Girl. All 3 movies based on Female Superheroes have been rated 10% or lower.

I hope I could shed some new light on this subject. If I got any math wrong or any facts wrong, please let me know so I can fix that.

Honestly, not to sound like a dick or disregard these charts, but I have got my own opinions and that's all that matters. I take someone using critic scores to prove a films superiority as a sign of a lack of confidence and being "weak" (not to mention bandwagoning and fanboying).

@sknit My opinions don't align with the numbers, but I thought it would be interesting to have the numbers laid out, in a somewhat less objective way.

@Mrblackjack I agree whole heartedly. I have my own personal favorites, which I have my reasons for loving, and some of them are regarded as the worst. People shouldn't base their opinions off of numbers like these.

I was just trying to show how critical reception for these movies has changed over the years.

Just a quick note - it's a tad disorienting that all but two of the charts have time running from right to left. Sony and Disney/Paramount going from left to right.

I have never cared, and will never care, about what critics think about any movie. Sometimes my opinion of a movie lines up with theirs, but there are a lot of times when they don't. Imo, most critics are idiots.

@mexicansuperman, I might make my own list for my favorites, this was just something I wanted to use to observe how the the critical response to these movies has changed over the years. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear.
