Ah...the nostalgia. This was a great book when I was a kid and the movie looks freakin' amazing. Before it was posted here, I didn't even know the movie was being made.

TYLERWINN...ever heard of "Don't ask, don't tell?" Your sexual preference means nothing to any of us. :)

This is my all time favorite childhood book. I bought it for my son, and now I can take him to see the movie, but I have to go alone first, so when I'm with him I don't shame him in front of his peers from all the ooh's and ahh's that I'll be uttering because the trailer looks AMAZING!!!

freakin' awesome, i know it's intended for kids but do you think it's gunna be weird trying to take a kid to the movie on opening night only to have the ticket guy say "sorry they are all sold out..." and it's gunna be all of us who remember this book from when we were kids haha!

awesome, i like all actors mentioned, and this kid has this Macaulay Culkin feel to him (pre-junkie). i definately don't think it's movie of the year, or best movie on this site, but whatever, opinions are opinions, especially those of nerds. lol.

This trailer brought a bit of a tear to my eye and a shiver to my spine, easily one of the best looking adaptations for a childrens book by the trailer so far.
Good job So far Spike Jonze!

"HOLY SHIT this is gonna be so flippin TITS i can't wait
OH MY COG i just JIZZED in my pants hell yes this is gonna ROCK"

Dude, it's a kids movie... Ew.

"I'm sure most of you know, but for those who don't... Legendary Pictures is also said to be in the process of making a WarCraft movie."

Yeah, but I think that rumor has been floating around for years. With a 10 million strong worldwide fanbase, rumors like that will definitely pop up.

But on the same note, with a 10 million fan base, it's only a matter of time before the movie is made.

@ themyth - I know... it gave me goosebumps too. Something tells me that this isnt going to be your average kid movie. I think it is going to have a very strong story.

I feel that it would have to since the this is our childhood generation and not our childrens, but it is always great to show the younger generations the things that made our childhood.
