Superman wouldn't be allowed in there as he's no longer a U.S. citizen. Oh, wait...it's the Obama administration. Ok, now it makes sense. :)

@IronAngelX Oh no, I'm not trying to sound hostile or anything. I just found it funny how several people escalated this into a political debate in a matter of minutes. Nothing wrong with it, I just thought it was interesting.

Thank God the real superheros are nothing like the desk jockeys sitting around watching the action on TV.

But seriously, why is this front page? Starting to have quality issues here.

We are, if the president is serious here, a nation that has narrowly constricted its marketable talents to the deployment of violence. We can’t manufacture much of anything, but we can kill you. We can’t fix our schools, or build adequate levees to protect a city like New Orleans from floodwaters. But we can kill you. We can’t reduce infant mortality to anywhere near the level of other industrialized nations with which we like to compare ourselves. But we can kill you. We can’t break the power of Wall Street bankers, or jail any of those bankers and money managers who helped orchestrate the global financial collapse. But we can kill you. We can’t protect LGBT youth from bullying in schools, or ensure equal opportunity for all in the labor market, regardless of race, gender, sexuality or any other factor. But we can kill you. Booyah, bitches.- Tim Wise

America does as well if you know the countless amount of war crimes that we have committed that pale in comparison and yet nobody holds us accountable since we are an imperial power by virtue of our foreign policies and ever present military power. As an example "On this last point, Wright’s scholarship is beyond dispute. In addition to the enslavement of Africans, this nation’s leaders slaughtered Indian folk, killed at least half a million in the Philippines (some say more than a million) at the turn of the last century in an attempt to crush the independence movement there, and helped overthrow democratic governments and replace them with vicious dictatorships that butchered and tortured hundreds of thousands in Iran (1953), Guatemala (1954), Indonesia (1965), and Chile (1973), among others. More recently, U.S. sanctions against Iraq after the first Gulf War led to the deaths of at least half a million children there–this, by the admission of former Secretary of State, Madeline Albright, who famously claimed in a 1996 television interview that such an outcome had been “worth it.”

They weren't watching the raid, look at each expression in that video. Someone gave Obama a video of Bill getting serviced by Monica and showed it in the meeting room. Look at Hillary recoiling in shock while every dude just sits there and stares with that cold, icy, blank stare of lust. I think Biden might even be tugging one out there on the side!

"We come from a [nation] of thieves and butchers" ( Iron Man 2) but I suppose when you are the dominant power, right makes right even when it is wrong. ( Though I disagree with the last part of my sentence, It is a descriptive statement, not a prescriptive one. It simply seems to be the way things are and nobody is going to change that anytime soon.) All I say is at least don't try to pretend like that is not the case and bask in all the self-righteous hoopla we like to bask in. Again take pride in what we do and say "booya bitches" we own your asses and we can butcher and murder, oppress and exploit whomever and whenever we want. ( we do it at home, so why should it be any different abroad). Unless you believe in some critical and objective notion of truth and justice, which is what these Superheros' ( at least a lot of them) are supposed to represent and possesses. If you believe in what some of them stand for, you might not be too happy with our governments history and ongoing activities. ( especially Captain America or Superman lol) On another note, imagine if some special ops forces went into George Bushes home, kidnapped him, killed him, and put his body out at sea? ( how would the public respond? ). War criminals are war criminals whether Americans, Middle easterns, Jotuns or The 10 rings lol) They should be held responsible.
