I love Alan Moore he is the greatest comic book writer of all time and he makes some of the most iconic characters ever. I was wondering who would win in a fight between the psychotic vigilante Rorschach versus the terrorist freedom fight V. These are my favorite Moore characters by the way.

What do you guys think who would win in this fight between the Alan Moore titans?

You should have done Ozymandias vs. V, then it would have been an even fight.

I'm going with V, even though I like Rorschach more.

V would kick the shit out of Rorschach. If Rorschach was as badass as V, he would take down the government instead of just bitching about it. V is clearly smarter, and clearly a better fighter. Nothing against Rorschach, he's a great character, though I didn't really like the way he was played in the movie. Hell, I'll go ahead and say I think V for Vendetta is the superior film (Hugo Weaving is better in it than anyone in Watchmen, and it more effectively conveys the books themes) though Watchmen is the superior comic.

I think that V would win if it came down to weapon fighting but a hand to hand would be difficult to judge. Rorschach is a pretty tough mofo but yeah V is smarter tho.

I go with V, he's more disciplined and much smarter. Rorschach just attacks with no real method.

I agree with CDB. As "interesting" as Rorshach's concept is, i find him physically insignificant. Sure he can kick an ass like anyone of us can, but i just couldn't be convinced by him in the Bar scene. I was literally wondering what everyone was so afraid of. The guy has some skills and is clever/resourceful and all but isn't much of a physical menace per say. He'd flat out lose against Tim Drake. V on the other hand, would give Batman a run for his money! He'd lose of course but Batman would feel him in the morning ;)

airbeyonder18- Good god, man! Now THAT'S a poll!!! Thing is with Ozy, no one knows the extent of his knowledge and abilities. Same as V i guess. So yeah, brilliant match up! I'd have to choose V out of pure favoritism though, i'm biased :))

Yeah I am pretty sure that V would win but Rorschach is pretty touch tho he would put up a good fight.

There's apocryphal Watchmen material that suggests Ozymandias may be some sort of metahuman.
