JURASSIC WORLD: CAMP CRETACEOUS Season 3 Trailer Teases The Birth Of A Dangerous New Threat

Netflix and DreamWorks Animation's Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is officially coming back for season three and it looks like it'll be premiering a lot sooner than anyone might've anticipated!

After the smashing success of season two this past January, Netflix and DreamWorks Animation have officially announced that the eagerly awaited third season of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will debut on the streaming service on May 21.

The third season will also run a little longer than the previous two, with ten episodes instead of the usual eight.

While plot details are being mostly kept under wraps, the new season will pick up shortly after the events of season two, with the six young teenage campers, fresh off their victory over those nasty big game hunters, still trying to find their way off Isla Nublar. The season will also see them deal with an all-new threat - potentially a new hybrid - that was accidentally released from its cryo-chamber in the season two finale when the electricity went out momentarily.

The new season may also provide some additional insight into next year's hotly-awaited Jurassic World: Dominion, as executive producer Colin Trevorrow previously teased, "This season — and if we're granted further opportunities to tell the story that we have [in season 3] — will keep weaving into the larger story and really inform some things, even in Dominion that will connect to discoveries made that I'm really excited about."

The main cast of Paul-Mikél Williams (Westworld), Jenna Ortega (You), Ryan Potter (Titans), Raini Rodriguez (Austin & Ally), Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs), and Kausar Mohammed (Silicon Valley) are all expected to return to voice their respective roles. It's uncertain at this point, but Jameela Jamil (The Good Place) and Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick) may also return.

Not going to watch this, but what kind of show is this?

With a title like Camp Cretaceous, I thought it was a preschool show

@dracula - the animation is the main reason I'm not watching. Off topic still haven't got to Kipo season 3. That's on me, preoccupied with work.

@MrCamw1 - yeah the animation isn't a big draw either for me. Story does sound somewhat interesting though

The first season wasn't bad, I'll get around to watching the second sometime. I wonder if they're using this show as introducing new dinosaurs.. duhhh

They need to ditch that Goldbergs kid. His voice is annoying. I don't know if he always sounds like that or if he makes his voice sound nasally in order to sound younger than he is. But it's super [frick]in annoying.

First two seasons were solid fun. I’ll go for another round! Only began watching due to double toasted lol!

Yeah the animation is a little off putting, but it's actually a really solid show if you give it a chance.
Well worth a look.
