Universal Pictures has dated eleven 2024 movies tonight (including five untitled event films) and while one of these dates was almost certainly booked for a Fast & Furious movie, it seems quite probable that a few of the other summer dates may also be for known properties or filmmakers.
Since it's already been announced that the final chapter in the main saga, Fast & Furious 11, would arrive in theaters in February 2024, it's not exactly a stretch to assume that the Valentine's Day weekend date is reserved for Dom Toretto's last ride.
Everything else is mostly TBD for now, but with prime summer dates staked out, a follow-up to Jurassic World: Dominion or Christopher Nolan's next theatrical venture could certainly find itself slotted into that June date - although with his Oppenheimer project slated to begin production at the top of next year, it seems increasingly likely that it will hit the silver screen long before Summer 2024.
Two Blumhouse films have also been dated, either of which could be a potential monster movie, while only one Illumination title was dated. However, Despicable Me 4 seems like the most obvious candidate there.
There's also a big film coming on Christmas Day, so don't be shocked if we get a Nolan feature or another major awards contender on Dec. 25.

Looking ahead at the competition, Disney has dated nine 2024 releases, including four films from Marvel Studios (February 16; May 3; July 26; November 8), two from Pixar (March 1; June 14), two Disney live-action (March 22; July 5), and a title from 20th Century Studios (May 24). Meanwhile, Warner Bros. has dated only George Miller's Furiosa for May 2024.
