"The Hunt Has Evolved" according to this new poster for Predator and it's fair to say that this is one of the coolest efforts we've seen this year! Unfortunately, Fox didn't release a trailer following the movie's panel in Hall H (as expected, there was also no sign of Dark Phoenix) so this will have to do and we'll be sure to bring you some footage descriptions for the Shane Black-helmed release as soon as we can.
While Iron Man 3 may have been divisive among some fans, Black proved he knows how to handle a big budget blockbuster and that movie's box office returns say a lot (The Nice Guys, on the other hand, bombed). Regardless, it will be very interesting seeing how this one turns out, especially as Hollywood so often struggles when it comes to remaking or rebooting beloved franchises such as this one.
Things are looking good so far, though, because word out of Comic-Con (where a number of clips were shown) is overwhelmingly positive. Throw in the fact that it looks like the director is taking the franchise in some exciting new directions and it will be well worth keeping an eye on Predator this fall.
