Following a poor reception from critics and fans alike, Shane Black's The Predator failed to make much of an impression at the global box office, grossing just over $148.6 million ($50.9M domestic; $97.7M foreign) on its estimated $88 million production budget, which likely means we won't be seeing the Yautja back on the big screen anytime soon.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment announced this morning that The Predator will arrive on Digital HD on November 27 before debuting on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on December 18.

As for the special features, fans can expect to see a number of deleted scenes, at least four behind-the-scenes featurettes, and an exclusive gallery featuring stills from the movie.

The reboot will also be included as part of a limited edition Predator: 4-Movie Collection, which will feature all four films on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray.

Sterling K. Brown was good, and a few of the others were: Olivia Munn wasn’t half bad. It was just so [frick]ing stupid.

Really, really stupid.

They need to figure out a creative way to use Predators. The movie Predators wa not too bad, but everything else outside of the first one has been garbage.

@CinemaJackXCI - I remember reading that story in 7th grade, it was one of my favorite stories on the curriculum. Just very captivating.

Thank you but no thank you. The only films I've got are Predator and Predators. This film screamed disaster miles away. Iron Man 3 is proof of that!

I get the impression that at some point this was a really good movie, and then they ruined it with last-minute rewrites and reshoots. Way back when they first started filming, there were spy shots of the good guys riding a tank… with the Predator. And that scene wasn’t in the movie.

Some have theorized that the “good” predator teamed up with the protagonists to fight the big “bad” predator. But at some point, semi-late into production, all involved got cold feet and gave us the sloppy, rushed, unsatisfying third act that we ended up with. That might explain why the CG was so sloppy.

They cheesed up the Predator way too much IMO. The first two were gritty and awesome, a product of their directors and time period they were filmed. Predators was a good callback attempt. This was typical Hollywood cliche BS. Total missed opportunity.

@Turner - Is it better than any of the other movies, besides the original? That's all I care about

@JohnBergman85 - I'd say it's slightly better than the first AvP, and on par with the second. Is definitely last in all the standalone Predator movies.

@Turner - That sucks. I hated both AvP movies. Thought the Adrian Brody was meh, it had some decent moments though

@JohnBergman85 - I hear ya. I mean that's just what I think so hopefully you may like it more.
