THE PREDATOR Is On The Hunt In This Action-Packed New TV Spot For The Movie

A new minute-long TV spot for The Predator has blasted its way online today and it features some action from the sequel, including what looks like a tease of some Predator vs. Predator action. Take a look!

The marketing campaign for The Predator is starting to heat up because a brand new TV spot has been released today and it offers up a fun (and action-packed) look at Shane Black's movie. There's not a lot of new footage here but we do get to see the titular alien on the hunt as well as a staredown between two of them which could result in some cool Predator vs. Predator violence...that or a team-up!

While Iron Man 3 may have been divisive among some fans, Black proved he knows how to handle a big budget blockbuster and that movie's box office returns say a lot (The Nice Guys, on the other hand, bombed). Regardless, it will be very interesting seeing how this one turns out, especially as Hollywood so often struggles when it comes to remaking or rebooting beloved franchises such as this one.

Check out the new TV spot below and then be sure to let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

@Gizmoduck - Yeah, that trailer really had me sold until the giant GGI super pred at the end. WTF! You have awesome Predators. You don't need a gimmick like that. Also, that actor in this who was in Logan would be a much better Gambit than Channing Tatum

Predators are now taking steroids? I liked what I saw but the new Predator was a bit over the top.

Excited for this, mainly because of Shane Black but also because of quite a surprisingly strong cast, featuring many actors who are fancast as Superheroes.

While it doesn't have the machismo of the original it does look interesting.

PS Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is awesome, man I need to watch it again...........!!!

Much better, but I'm still on the fence about it. With Halloween looking so good, I'm hoping The Predator can also reinvigorate its own respective franchise. I like the mixing of genres, but lets see if it pays off.

The first Predator will never be replicated, still interested in this due to the cast, and interested to see how the use of animal DNA with the Predators plays out.

Why wouldn't they save that Super pred for a reveal in the movie? That's dumb marketing

@Puketitmilker - I just said I thought the reveal was dumb. I still think the movie looks great, I just think the reveal would have bigger impact if it wasnt actually shown in the trailers. I dont know what you're hopped up on, but you need to chill the [frick] out. Why bring Disney into this too?

Ill let that comment slide considering you wouldn't know this, but I'm a heavy supporter of Disney. Especially when it comes to Star Wars.

Youre just the opposite side of the coin when it comes to the radical fans. You're the one going wherever you can find a criticism and lashing out, causing trouble where there doesn't need to be.

@Puketitmilker - Either you're a damn good troll, or you should be taking lots of anger management classes. All I said was that I think its dumb they made a big reveal in a TV Spot and not the actual movie. Pull the stick out of your ass and quit being a troll.
