THE PREDATOR Motion Poster Teases The Electrifying Big Screen Return Of The Ruthless Alien Hunter

We caught a glimpse of this at Brand Licensing Europe a couple of weeks ago, but now 20th Century Fox has officially released the motion poster for Shane Black's The Predator. Check it out after the jump.

Director Shane Black has confirmed that it'll be another while before we see a first trailer for The Predator, but we do have this pretty cool motion poster to keep fans content in the meantime.

A photo of the standard version of this was snapped recently at Brand Licensing Europe, but as you can see, the effect of the lightning bolts forming the shape of the iconic alien hunter is a lot more impressive in motion.


The Predator features a cast that includes Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key and Sterling K. Brown. The sci-fi sequel is set to hit theaters on August 3, 2018.

More impressive? Except it's not.. I hate "lightning" Art because lightning would NEVER be that collected in a single area. Look SO fake!

Would have been better to just show his camouflage shorting out in the rain if you wanted the same effect, but we got the GIANT FLOATING HEAD OF HOLLYWOOD...again

@RorMachine - I get that realism isn't a top priority here, but it fails to look like lightning if they just add a bunch of tendrils and offshoots. It fails to follow the rules of electricity and just ends up looking kinda forced

Predators don't have any real origin story do they? Like how did they get so technologically advanced? Then decide to go around hunting random species around space?

@KIDCOM - lmao 😂😂😂 the inclusion of any kid in a movie like predator means it's going to blowwwwwww. They're supposedly having that little kid return in Infinity war. Key is funny but I don't want humor in predator.
