It's been a long time since the original Predator was released and while the aliens have pretty much always looked the same since, them receiving a makeover of sorts in 2018 is no bad thing and freshen things up. That's exactly what's going to happen in Shane Black's upcoming sequel/reboot and our best look yet at their new armour has now been revealed along with an explanation from the director.
Apparently, it all boils down to the debut of a Super Predator the original will seemingly end up doing battle with at some point in the movie. "The challenge became to make it frightening. 'Cause upon that hinged everything — whether you bought our heroes going up against him and felt a real threat for them. We had to invent a scenario in which the Predators were mysterious and scary again."
