Amidst earlier rumors about Darren Aronofsky potentially leaving or Alan Smithe-ing his "Robocop" Remake project, Joblo.com reportedly talked to several credible sources that verified those rumors are false. Aronofsky is reportedly satified with the production, but just pissed off at everyone that keeps asking him about it. Thus, it seems like he does not want to do the project anymore, but he said "Bump that! I wanna get PAID!" (Not Really)
You may recongnize Darren Aronofsky as the Director with the hard to pronounce last name, the Director of the movie I never saw titled "The Fountain", or the Director of the film I used to skip school and kill brain cells while watching titled "Requiem For A Dream". Aronofsky also Directed the recently released film "The Wrestler" inwhich marked a comeback for tough guy actor Mickey Rourke where he plays an ugly, washed up David Lee Roth looking wrestler, and it looks like this movie will make me sad...:(

He is also the lucky mofo banging Rachel Weisz! What reporters should be asking him is if his Baby Mama is going to be playing Catwoman anytime soon! But, as far as the general Hollywood public can tell, "Robocop" is still on, just don't ask him about it in an interview! I'm sure Burger King is gearing up for Kid's Meal Toys, and Hane's is developing new and improved "Robocop" whitie tighties as we speak.
