Robocop stars Joel Kinnaman, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, Gary Oldman, Jay Baruchel, Micheal K Williams and Michael Keaton. It's set to release in August 2013.

In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex's life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.

I'm liking this VERY much. My only worry is that with the armor being so dark that people might start drawing comparisons between him and Batman and calling him a Batman rip-off or something. Wish they would've gone with some more blue and silver for a nice blue metallic finish. Still, this looks great for a new, updated version.

Now Hollywood needs to stop with these remakes. Getting ridiculous now.

Not bad at all, doesn't really look like Robocop because of the colors, but I won't judge off of set photos. Looks cool so far.

That thing probably took 4 hous to put on.

Tom Hiddleston said it took two hours to add hair extensions and fully buckle his costume.

Wow, that's...the helmet's fine, but the rest...I don't know what I have to say. I don't really like it, that's for sure.

Of course it has to be black, but I welcome the change. I'm sure they will ad CG touches to it, but not nearly as bad as I was thinking. Based on what was leaked about this movie I still expect it to be horrible, then again I thought Judge Dredd was going to be God Awful but it was a ton of fun.

I swear I don't know what's going on in most of your heads. This [frick]ing Robo-ninja is a [frick]ing slight against humanity. This whole production is one of the worst travesties I've ever known. All that "Actually I'm happy to be working on this film, contrary to what I've been reported to say", from Jose Pasilda, is so forced, it's not even funny.
There was nothing wrong with the original design and this looks nothing like it. It didn't need updating, it was itself taken from Metropolis, they just tweaked it a little. That's all that needs to be done here. A bit of tweaking.
Didn't we realise that doing the whole Tim Burton's Batman thing only really worked for Batman and maybe the X-Men?
This is almost as bad as I expected.
I don't usually trash and bash a movie unless I really mean it. X-Men - First Class did not deserve bashing, this film does.

Why the [FRICK] is it black?! WTH?! I like the concept but even gun metal grey would be better than black.

Doesn't look anything like a Robot. Does rather look like Bats (@VicSage: here yout got what you suspected) or a G.I. Joe suit. It's not just the color, the whole suit doesn't look robot like at all.
