LEAVE ROBOCOP ALONE!!!! IM SERIOUS!!!!......really this character doesn't need to be remade or rebooted to a modern era. He was a satire on the 80s American culture, with the idea of a corporation controlling a service that they themselves could influence to have only the rich pay for while allowing the poor to fend for themselves......They had their chances of making a great movie into a franchise that challenged people's sensibilities when it came to the culture they live in. #2 was a fun silly 80s action movie and #3 was a literal #2, it was so bad I felt it offended me, and I was 6 when it came out. As for everyone saying "lets see him upgraded"....NO...NO....bad fanboys bad...the character was supposed to be bulky and look like it has some real weight to it, you know like how all mechanical beings should have. The Bayformers for example despite being huge they don't seem to have any weight to them, they roll around and leap in the air with ease, giant hunks of metal can't do that without causing some form of damage to the ground or environment.....theres suspension of disbelief and then theres insulting my intelligence.....Keep Robocop away from the reboot chopping block, same with Total Recall, The Crow, Escape from New York, any great 80s/90s movie doesn't need a modern interpretation, let them exist in the time that they were created....its called Nostalgia, we remember these things from our past and enjoy them for what they gave us back then and how they made like what we like today

@grif: I did NOT know Robocop made an appearance in WcW. Wow, what an epic moment. Aah, memories...b The good ol' wrestling days before fudge-packing Cena and Orton.

I'm with those here who say DON'T REMAKE ROBOCOP! The original is one of my personal favorite movies, and there is nothing that could be done to "improve" it. I'm fine with a sequel if it wipes out the previous sequels, and gets back to the clever satire and social commentary that made the original such a classic.
