My name is William Martinko. I am a high school student and an independent filmmaker. Over the past year, we have been working on a short film about a teenager with superpowers. We shot it over a period of five monthes and edited over that time too. Yesterday, we released the film and received an overwhelmingly positive result among our community. So, I decided to post it here to see whether you all would enjoy it. I tried to create a more character-driven approach to the superhero genre. It stars Sam McLaughlin, Clare Heller, Aidan Everly, Michael Almeida, and Marusia Griffin Lynn. It also contains music by Idgy Dean, Diamond Days, Tyler Ward, and We Are Forever.
Here is the plot:
"After convincing his overbearing mother to send him to high school, David tries to fit in with the normal world, but he is not normal at all. He has telekinetic powers that allow him to levitate objects, read people's minds, and defy gravity. He begins to meet new people including a girl named Amy who feels as if there's something different from him. He also encounters a football player named Toby who wants David out of the equation. While he tries to fit in, he starts to learn about his powers, how far he can go with them, and how he got them, but accidents begin to occur."
