New official poster for one of the most anticipated movies of the year: Star Trek Into Darkness. And yes, it's not face collage, but it sees the Enterprise falling. Quite symbolic actually. Kind of represents the movie's story.

In the wake of a shocking act of terror from within their own organization, the crew of The Enterprise is called back home to Earth. In defiance of regulations and with a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads his crew on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice.

As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

Star Trek Into Darkness stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Alice Eve and Anton Yelchin. The film arrives in theaters May 17th.

It would be iconic if it were an iconic Enterprise like the original or 1701-A or D, which it isn't. The damn ship is so new nobody gives a shit if it crashes, even the band-wagon jumpers who now call themselves Star Trek fans as long as the movies have nothing to do with the original purpose of the concept and instead stick to being just another popular Brand name rebooted as yet another action comedy flick.

Must not cost much to build a star ship. It seems they destroy them every other movie.

A crashing and burning Enterprise has become so cliche since Search for Spock. All that's missing in this poster is a separating saucer session.

Fairly soon, the Enterprise will be getting destroyed in every movie.

I hate it when I go into the comments to make an intellectually engaging point, but you dickheads instead post pictures of objectified women.
JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN'T GET ANY IN REALITY DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO POST PORN ON CBM FORUMS.

I hate it when man haters say something is porn, when it clearly isn't. Now I'm going to post something and wait to see if you complain that I'm objectifying:

Just because you're a prude, doesn't give you the right to castrate the rest of us.
