Following the release of some fantastic 'Star Wars Vs. Marvel' fan art over at IGN (you can view them by clicking HERE) I asked you guys who you think would win if the two iconic universes were to come to blows. Well, there was a pretty clear winner, as it seems that you don't think the likes of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader wouldn't have a shot if they were to face off against characters such as Spider-Man and Thor!

Star wars is really no competition for marvel... Darth Vader really isn't that powerful, magneto could tear him to pieces easily,, the only thing star-wars has that could possibly help their chances would be the death-star

Couldn't the Death Star hypothetically destroy the Earth (where most Marvel heroes live btw...)? Can Hulk breathe in space? Sure that would leave a few other heroes that will kick the empires ass however I still think Star Wars has a bigger chance than what the polls imply.

Darth vader might loose but anikin would tear dat ass up. Its not just telekinisis they [frick] with. They could go up to the hulk wave their hand in front of his face and make hime [frick] up anybody that mattered in the mu. Magneto would get a force choke. And if you count the force unleashed, how can anyone [frick] with anybody that can move and destroy a star destroyer? Han solo would get handled by deadpool though. The ewoks would be gone too. Pretty much just those that use the force would stand a chance. Maybe the storm troopers just because of shear numbers

The marvel universe has to many god like heroes and villians that are way beyond the powers of the force: Molecule Man, The Phoenix, The Beyonder, Thor, Galactus, The Silver Surfer, Magneto, The Sentry, Doctor Strange, The Hulk. The Death Star would be Star Wars' only hope but Magneto could easily disable it.

Yeah, Star Wars has like a few Jedi and an Army of Storm Troopers, Marvel has The Juggernaut. Throw in Hulk and maybe Gladiator and Silver Surfer and those 4 would rip up the Star Wars U by themselves.

I think Marvel has this as well, but if we are talking about Star Wars in the general sense aren't we talking all of it? Including the old republic? Thousands of Jedi and Sith including the crazy powerful ones like Nihilus who can destroy an entire planet just by using the force? All the mandalorians and star fleets? And in the EU isn't Luke God-like?

In the SW universe Vader is a badass, but if he existed in the MU he would just be a cyborg with powers. There's a dozen characters just like him :) Besides, Reed Richards, Henry Pym or Hank McCoy would just give him a shot of penicillin or something to kill the infectious force parasites :D
