Hey everyone, today the new DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront was released. Titled Rogue One: Scarif, it is accompanied by a huge patch which has overhauled a bunch of things. These are balance issues for heroes like Boba Fett, buffs and new features for Darth Vader, a better shot for Lando Calrissian amongst other things. Server issues and framerate issues also appear to have been resolved, but I haven't played too much to tell you guys for sure. Regardless, the main feature of the update is the addition of the Rogue One: Scarif DLC which allows you several new mpas, a new mode, a few new blasters and the ability to play as Jyn Esro or Orson Krennic. While I have yet to play as either, in the gameplay video included below, you do get to see Esro in action.

If the Rogue One: Scarif DLC seems like something that you guys would be interested in, then head on over to your local EB Games or Gamestop and purchase the Season Pass. You can also do this online via EA Origin, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. You do not need to purchase the Season Pass to get the Rogue One: Scarif DLC, though, and can get it independent for a much lower price.

Now I know that many people had issues with this game when it was first released because DICE was forced to rush the release because of EA Games wanting to cash in on the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Trust me, though, ever since then, even the base game has gotten amazing overhauls. So you don't even need to get any of the DLC to enjoy the game anymore, just pop it in and it is a much better game than it was upon release.

Can't spell "steal" without "EA".

@Darkknight2149 - I apologize if I may have inconvenienced you, but I checked first to see if it had been. Josh Wilding posted the final trailer for it, but not an article to signify that it had been released.

@CutlockCrew -
"Josh Wilding posted the final trailer for it, but not an article to signify that it had been released."

I was mainly referring just the general details and release date, not necessarily that it was now available. I personally don't mind if it's up or not. I often try to help if someone creates a duplicate article or posts an Editorial section or anything like that.

"I apologize..."

You didn't do anything wrong.

@Darkknight2149 - Ah I see, I wasn't aware of that, but I don't think I did any harm by covering the details once more. Either way, I've gotten into the habit of apologizing often on the internet to avoid having unnecessary arguments, because I have come off as rude before and I'd rather not insult anyone.

Playing on my ONE tonight. Come find me. I'm the one that shoots like an actual Stormtrooper...

For real though my gamertag is the same as my user here. Games fun and you can get the ultimate edition with everything really cheap on the X box store right now. I payed 110 bucks for mine and I don't regret it. You can get it under 40 this week.

@marvel72 - I'm a PS4 player, I describe how to get past that bug in the video. However, in text form. Go to PlayStation Store, go to add-ons, new and then more. You should find Rogue One: Scarif there and install it. Then go to the Star Wars: Battlefront general page for purchase on PSN and select the add-ons button. All released DLC should show, just reinstall what you've bought.

@marvel72 - I had to redownload Battle of Jaku, Death Star and Scarif after I downloaded the big patch. Works now but I had the same issue. There was a lock symbol over those.

@WYLEEJAY - Yeah,they're pretty cool.I like Deathstar you know running blasting shit and Bespin carbon freeze chamber.What game mode do you play the most? Mine is Blast,then probably Walker Assault.

@marvel72 - Walker assault, turning point, then blast. In that order. I think Death Star brought the best content so far. Battle Station mode gives you a taste of everything imo.
