STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS: Warwick Davis Shares Selfies From The Pinewood Set

During a guest appearance on The One Show, hosted by Alex Jones, Matt Baker and Chris Evans, Warwick Davis showed off a couple of selfies taken on the set of J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Possible spoilers ahead.

During his time on The One Show, Warwick Davis could barely contain his excitment about being involved the first new Star Wars film in 10 years. While he refused to share any details on the most anticipated blockbuster of 2015, he did share some selies with presenters Matt Baker and Alex Jones from his time on the Pinewood Studios set.

The first shared photo (above, picturing Darth Vader's cod armor, weathered *yay* belt, and A New Hope lightsaber) might even be quite revealing. Darth Vader’s return (either in flashback or in the flesh) was once rumoured, but it’s hard to believe that Davis would have let such a big spoiler leak through a selfie.

The second shared photo (below, picturing Chewbacca's sash, but no ammo belt?) is of Davis standing in front of Chewbacca’s groin. However, this does not reveal anything new, as we were already aware of Chewbacca's presence in the upcoming film.

I feel it should be noted that the quality of Chewbacca's hair seems to differ from previous photos, possibly indicating that these new photos were taken for publicity rather than genuinly from the set. Tell me what you think in the comments section below.

Davis’ role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens currently remains unknown, but we will find out come December 18th this year!

Set 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi, Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens continues the story of our favorite band of heroes and villains, while also introducing new faces to the saga. Directed by J.J. Abrams, written by J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan, with music by John Willaims, creative consultant George Lucas, and starring Oscar Isaac, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie, Harrison Ford, Domhnall Gleeson, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Peter Mayhew, Daisy Ridley, Lupita Nyong'o, Kenny Baker, Max von Sydow, Warwick Davis, Anthony Daniels, Christina Chong, Pip Andersen, Dixie Arnold, and Crystal Clarke, Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens is set for release on December 18, 2015.

Likely not from the set but as a gag for the show. He's not in makeup or wardrobe, and both those characters are old characters that the show could have gotten costumes for.
