New Figures For SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Showcase Several Costumes And...Ultimate IRON MAN?

Thanks to ComingSoon, we have our first official look at Marvel Legends' 6″ Scale Figures for the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The figures give us a peek at some interesting details, such as a better look at Peter Parker's homemade costume, his upgraded suit (complete with web wings), a wingless Vulture, and most interestingly, a new Iron Man suit that is incredibly reminiscent of the character's very first design in Marvel's "Ultimate" line of comics.  Of course, being a toy, this isn't a direct confirmation that the suit will feature in the film, but given its similarity to Tony's most recent suit from Captain America: Civil War, it may not be entirely out of the question!

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theatres on July 7, 2017.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming.  Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

I'm totally expecting a winter soldier moment where he loses his new suit and has to go back to the home made one. Maybe tony shuts it down or it gets broken for some reason.

@The72nd - For sure. He has it on when he's facing Bokeem's Shocker, and when facing the Vulture at what appears to be a carnival.

@The72nd - I actually think this may be some sort of flashback as in...he's already faced the Vulture and the Shocker gang but all that happened before Tony met him and talked him into going to Germany. I believe this is the case because the car scene with Peter and Tony suggests that that scene takes place prior to the airport fight.
And, if not, maybe him being beaten by the Vulture makes Tony design the webpits for Peter. But I'm pretty sure the car scene is a flashback prior to the airport fight in Civil War.
Just my two cents.

What's with the color distribution on the Iron man suit?

@ComicsBornAndBred - I think it's a different mark but i'm not sure which one .... I've the seen the design before not the color pattern

@MattBellissimo - Maybe it's just a color variant, hasbro tends to do that quite a bit just to recycle "new" molds.

@LeonardTheWise - Yep, mentioned that in the article. :) Could go either way, given the similarities to the suit.

@MattBellissimo - I knew it reminded me of something. Never liked that suit. Well, how clunky it was.

@knocturnalzen10 - It's literally just a repaint of the Mark 46. Based on that, i don't expect it to be a new suit that shows up in the movie, but we did get the 43 which was a repaint of the 42 so theres a chance.

But if i had to guess, I'd say it's just hasbro giving it a special "ultimate" colour scheme because it requires less paint

@MattBellissimo - Volume 1 and 2 had so many great looking costumes. I loved the Iron Man suit and the Cap suits (even his WW2 one) all looked great. So happy they went with that instead of the 616 version for Cap in the MCU. The addition of the chin strap and turning it into a helmet instead of mask? Perfect.

Like them all but Vulture's look still hasn't grown on me yet. Reminds me of General Hawk from G.I. Joe.
