As he searches to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology: the Scarab. STILL: A MICHAEL J. FOX MOVIE

Michael J. Fox is going back to his past and rewriting his future. Still premieres May 12 on Apple TV+

The film, which will incorporate documentary, archival and scripted elements, will recount Fox’s extraordinary story in his own words — the improbable tale of an undersized kid from a Canadian army base who rose to the heights of stardom in 1980s Hollywood. The account of Fox’s public life, full of nostalgic thrills and cinematic gloss, will unspool alongside his never-before-seen private journey, including the years that followed his diagnosis, at 29, with Parkinson’s disease. Intimate and honest, and produced with unprecedented access to Fox and his family, the film will chronicle Fox’s personal and professional triumphs and travails and will explore what happens when an incurable optimist confronts an incurable disease. With a mix of adventure and romance, comedy and drama, watching the film will feel like … well, like a Michael J. Fox movie.

EVIL DEAD RISE Final Trailer

New Line Cinema and Renaissance Pictures present a return to the iconic horror franchise, “Evil Dead Rise,” from writer/director Lee Cronin (“The Hole in the Ground”). The movie stars Lily Sullivan (“I Met a Girl,” “Barkskins”), Alyssa Sutherland (“The Mist,” “Vikings”), Morgan Davies (“Storm Boy,” “The End”), Gabrielle Echols (“Reminiscence”) and introducing Nell Fisher (“Northspur”).

Moving the action out of the woods and into the city, “Evil Dead Rise” tells a twisted tale of two estranged sisters, played by Sutherland and Sullivan, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

SIMULANT

The laws governing androids dictate that owners must deactivate unwanted Simulants (SIMS). But since Faye (Jordana Brewster) already pulled the plug on her late husband, she can’t bring herself to do the same to Evan (Robbie Amell), his android counterpart – even after she realizes her relationship with him is only prolonging her grief. Instead of deactivating Evan, Faye sets him up in an apartment to live illegally on his own. While there he meets Casey (Simu Liu), a brilliant programmer who helps him become more human in order to win Faye back. Unbeknownst to Evan, his new friend is wanted for questioning by a determined Artificial Intelligence Compliance Enforcement (AICE) agent Kessler (Sam Worthington). Evan has to win over Faye’s heart before they are both discovered and he loses everything.

Live-Action MOANA Announcement

Dwayne Johnson revealed in a message from Hawaii that a live-action reimagining of Disney Animation’s 2016 hit feature film “Moana” is in development.

The new feature film is produced by Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia via their Seven Bucks Productions, and Beau Flynn via Flynn Picture Co. Executive producers include Auli‘i Cravalho, who voiced Moana in the 2016 film, and Scott Sheldon of Flynn Picture Co. Jared Bush and Samoan industry pro-Dana Ledoux Miller will also take part in the production. Bush, who was a director and co-writer of Disney’s Oscar®-winning feature “Encanto” and a writer and co-director on Disney’s Oscar®-winning film “Zootopia,” wrote the screenplay for 2016’s “Moana.”

Like its animated predecessor, the film will celebrate the islands, communities, and traditions of Pacific Islanders as seen through the eyes of a young woman eager to pave her own path. Moana’s journey of self-discovery and reflection on the lives of her ancestors won hearts worldwide, as did her newfound friendship with an exiled demigod named Maui.

I thought it couldn't get worse than Indy 4 with the aliens.

And now we get Indy 5 with time travel.

I hate the whole world.

barbie, spider-verse and indiana jones all look great. secret invasion sounds excellent on paper but the footage looks so... dull. blue beetle looks like a cw show, and hypnotic looks like the kind of mess that when you find out they shot it like 3 years ago it starts to make sense.

Blue Beetle looks decent enough. Barbie looks like it's gonna be a drug trip and I am here for it. Spider-Verse looks like it's gonna blow minds as expected. The rest, I don't care too much about...

except for Clone High, they better do that show justice.

The biggest question about live action Moana is will The Rock wear a sweet wig for the role? He already doesn’t really look like Maui, but you can’t lose that iconic hair.

All of them were great, with Spidey and Secret Invasion being main favourites, Spidey across the Spider Verse looks tremendous.

but Barbie? ya that's my gurl right there, opening weekend for sure on that one.
