With Sony and Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming  film recently commencing filming in Atlanta at Pinewood Studios and new set photos emerging daily, the number of rumors pulsating throughout the internet is absolutely staggering.  Could one of the young actors cast in the film be Miles Morales? Just how many villains will appear? How will the film separate itself from Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire's Spider-Man films?  Unfortunately, we don't have any answers just yet (expect some reveals at SDCC next month) but we do have a new interview pertaining to Sony's animated Spidey flick.

While promoting their new TV show (which looks hilarious) Son of Zorn with IGN, executive producers Chris Miller and Phil Lord said there's a unique vision for their animated feature which will deliver a Spider-Man audiences have never seen before.  "It is not going to feel like every other Spider-Man movie you've seen.   It will stand on its own as a unique film-going experience.  It's wonderful and the people that are working on it are geniuses. It is unique. ... People will love it."

The animated Spider-Man film hits theaters on December 21, 2018.   Bob Persichetti directs from a script written by Miller and Lord.

I don't know if it's the best idea to have ANOTHER Spider-Man movie. We already don't know how people react to another live action reboot; throwing in an animated movie might make people even more tired of Spider-Man.

@MrMartyMarvel - Not to mention that Spidey will most likely be in both Infinity War parts. And if we get Spidey in all Homecoming, animated and Avengers sequels... That's a lot.
