As excitement for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse continues to build, Sony Pictures has finally released the spider-studded banner we first caught site of last year.

Presented in its entirety, we see even more wall-crawling Variants, some of whom might be familiar, while others are likely to be new to even the most hardcore comic book fans. Look closely and you'll spot a Samurai Spider-Man and even a version that bears a striking resemblance to a Wizard!

Others should be instantly familiar, though, including the Spider-Man from the PlayStation video games, and comic book characters like Mary Jane Watson-Parker/Spinerett and Ben Reilly/Scarlet Spider. However, the biggest talking point is going to be the presence of the animated Spectacular Spider-Man, presented in the same style as that beloved series!

We're eagerly anticipating another trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and Super Bowl weekend next month might be our best shot at getting even more footage from the sequel.

For now, you can take a closer look at this spectacular banner below!

1500x500-1

In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, after reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.

However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

While lots of rumours are swirling, in terms of confirmed cast members, the movie will star Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld. Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, and Oscar Isaac.

Written by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and David Callaham, and directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, Justin K. Thompson, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swings into theaters on June 2, 2023.

Is that Spider-Man PS4 on the left? And Bombastic Bag-Man behind Ben Reilly?

Wonder if Lowenthal is back as Spider-Man PS4, and if we get any reference to the games (or maybe in the games to this movie).

“Variants”? Ben Reilly and Miguel are variants of Peter Parker?

Cool, I guess that makes me Spider-Man now, too.

@Nightwing1015 - I thought I spotted him in between Spider-Gwen and Spider-Man Unlimited but I think that could be Peter B. Parker because I think he is wearing that thing from the trailer.

The lack of '90s TAS Spider-Man disturbs me.

I'm sorry, but until I see an animated version of me in my Spidey onesy this is NOT a complete "Spider-verse". I am, however, also willing to do a live-action version but there are going to have to be some residuals. I mean like action figures, Halloween costumes, lunch boxes, etc. But it'll be worth it because I'm VERY confident that a man in his 40's in a Spider-Man onesy spraying Silly String webbing at his foes (in this case a gender-swapped 6 year old Green Goblin and a gender-swapped 3 year old Doc Ock) will prove to be THE MOST POPULAR of the Spider-Man variants. Just wait and see. Marvel, I've switched my ringer on. Ball's in your court.
