We knew production was set to commence pretty soon on Sony Pictures' Morbius movie, but star Jared Leto has now revealed that cameras have already been rolling for a week.
The Academy Award-winning actor has taken to Twitter to share a first behind-the-scenes look at his character, Michael Morbius - a brilliant biochemist who becomes a vampiric antihero after injecting himself with a serum derived from bats in an attempt to cure a rare blood disease.
The studio evidently wants to keep the lower part of Morbius' face hidden for the time being, but this photo does give us a glimpse of his icy eyes.
Morbius is being directed by Daniel Espinosa from a script by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama. The movie also stars Jared Harris, Matt Smith and Adria Arjona in undisclosed roles.
