Daredevil actor Charlie Cox made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Spider-Man: No Way Home for a brief scene as Matt Murdock, but the actor has previously made it clear that he will get a chance to reprise the role down the line. Now, Cox has once again stated that he does "know something" during an interview with The Radio Times.
"I don't know much, but I know there will be something else," he confirmed.
When and where we'll see the Man Without Fear again remains to be seen, but fans of the character were very pleased to see him back after Netflix cancelled the hero's solo series. We've heard multiple reports of cheers when Murdock appeared on screen, but Cox didn't get to witness any audience reaction himself, unfortunately!
"It's funny, I got so many text messages and so many calls about that moment in the cinema. My nephew sent me a recording of everyone cheering. So I snuck into a movie theater near where I live and literally stood in the corridor... and, sadly, my experience was it was dead f**king quiet!"
"I was so disappointed," he laughed. "My wife was with me and she was recording me, because it'd be fun to have that moment of everyone cheering, and then... tumbleweed!"
It's a shame Cox didn't get to experience the same exuberant reaction Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire did when they went to a screening of No Way Home, but we're sure he was just unlucky with that particular crowd!
