SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME - Enter The Multiverse With A New IMAX Poster For The Movie

The posters for Spider-Man: No Way Home have been a little underwhelming (to say the least) so far, and, unfortunately, things haven't improved a whole lot with this IMAX one-sheet for the movie.

Tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home are now on sale, and Sony Pictures has been stepping up the movie's marketing campaign as we draw closer to its mid-December release.

We're anticipating one final trailer later on tonight (though that hasn't been officially confirmed), but for now, IMAX has debuted a new poster featuring Tom Holland's Friendly Neighborhood Wall-Crawler swinging into action as the city distorts around him.

The majority of fans have been left feeling a little underwhelmed by these posters, and this latest one-sheet continues the trend with an image of Spidey we've seen a dozen times before on promo material. It's totally understandable that the studio still doesn't want to utilize certain other characters that may or may not be appearing in the threequel, but a bit more effort would be appreciated.

Still, a few dodgy posters aren't going to dampen the hype for No Way Home, which will see the return of Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin, Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx's Electro, and more.

"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."

The movie also stars Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, and J.K. Simmons. Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.

Got my tickets, unfortunately gotta sit in Row D, because when I waiting for 40 minutes and I got in it wouldn’t go through, then times me out and stuck me in the queue for ‘more than an hour’

I woke up at 5 am and just grabbed 4 spots

I don't even know which suit is the main suit anymore.

I just want that Iron Spider suit to go away forever.

@Kurne - There is no "main" suit in the MCU. There's only the next one. Because toys.

No Way Home acts as an unprecedented multiverse crossover, the culmination of several years of Spider-Man storytelling, and features Doctor Strange, 3 fan-favorite incarnations of Peter Parker, at least 5 classic Spidey villains, and possibly even the return of Charlie Cox's Daredevil.

But yeah, let's just produce really boring and basic movie posters that convey none of this to moviegoers.

@generictheeric - Eh, I think the poster that we got a while ago pretty much convey that.

So in my area the Regal and AMC theaters sold out opening night. Both apps crashed on me. Fortunately I got tickets for another theater that's not Regal or AMC. But it may have a big opening weekend.

If they wanted to be a little more creative than this, should've had the twisting buildings vaguely make Doc Ock's tentacles.
