SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Is Already Vudu's Highest-Selling Pre-Order Title In The Platform's History

There's even more good news for Spider-Man: No Way Home today as the web-slinger's latest MCU adventure has broken pre-order records on Vudu a month before it's made available on Digital platforms...

Spider-Man: No Way Home vastly exceeded expectations at the worldwide box office, grossing $1.8 billion (and counting) since its release last December. Earlier this week, Sony Pictures announced the movie's release date on Digital and physical media platforms, and you probably won't be surprised to learn the MCU blockbuster is once again breaking records.

Media Play News reports that Spider-Man: No Way Home is already the highest-selling pre-order of all time on the Fandango-owned Vudu Digital/streaming service.

"No Way Home is one of the biggest superhero movies ever made, and a historic event for film fans, which makes it the perfect movie to add to your home collection," Erik Davis, Fandango's managing editor, told the site. "Fans will want to relive every thrill, laugh and emotional moment, and to share them with their friends and family. It's no surprise that it's Vudu's hottest pre-order title of all time."

While Spider-Man: No Way Home is still playing in theaters, fans are understandably excited to re-live that epic team-up between the three Spider-Men at home as soon as possible. Throw in over 80 minutes of special features, and this should be an essential purchase for fans of the wall-crawler.

Given the success of the Sony/Marvel Studios blockbuster, it's no wonder that Spider-Man 4 (another adventure for Peter Parker set in the MCU) is already in development. As of right now, it doesn't have a release date or director - it appears Jon Watts' next project is the Fantastic Four reboot - but we can't imagine there's going to be too much longer to wait before Spidey returns to the big screen.

Spider-Man: No Way Home releases on Digital on March 22 and physical platforms on April 12.

I haven't seen this darn movie yet. With all the hype when I do watch it I'll have very high expectations.

So don't be surprised if my review is critical.

@Lokiwasright - You already know that you yourself set a really high bar and are somewhat expecting the movie to not meet those expectations, and are preparing us for when you'll be an asshole about it.....

Okay cool
