Andrew Garfield's return as the Amazing Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home has received widespread critical acclaim, even leading to fans on social media pleading with Sony Pictures to #MakeTASM3. The actor has spoken positively about the possibility of reprising the role of Peter Parker, and we now have a closer look at the suit donned by the wall-crawler in the MCU.

The image comes our way via an actor who was used as a stand-in for Garfield on the movie's set.

Calling it "one of the greatest moments of my life," Omar Zaki explains that none of his scenes were used in the movie, but notes that Garfield being unavailable meant he got to fill in for the actor during that exchange between the three Spider-Men and Doctor Strange.

"I mainly acted in a Dialogue scene but was not shown on camera because they were mainly getting shots of Benedict and Tom," he explains, "and the other small physical performing scene I did was cut. The small/short physical scene I filmed did not make the final edit and I was framed out during the pickup shots to focus on Benedict and Tom talking."

We can only imagine what that must have been like for Zaki, and we're definitely appreciative of this closer look at the hero's suit. It doesn't appear to have changed much since 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, though that was to be expected (for many fans, this remains the character's best big screen costume).

This guy is so coool!

It's very nice to see someone so excited, I mean who wouldn't jump in Garfield's suit, just to have this amazing (haha) feeling?

I hope everyone is excited from time to time as this guy, even tho we live in these covid, sorta depressing times.

Fk it, let's all move to Hollywood!

@KWilly - I’m really partial to the red and lack FFH suit but I think the one at the end of NWH might take the cake. Just waiting on a better look at it

I would love to see a clear image of Tom Holland in the final comic accurate suit of Spider-Man seen in the finale of the movie. I really didn't get close enough look at it on the big screen

@patmanqc - I'm not sure if there actually is a full version of the costume that exists. We only see him from the back and with the mask off. The rest of the time it's completely cgi for the swinging sequence. It's possible they made it, but I think the real suit isn't at the quality you'd expect if so.

@Origame - Yeah, you’re probably right about the suit not physically existing. The fact that we never really get a clear shot of the suit makes me think that they might still tweak it just a bit for his next appearance. I’m sure there is concept art out there though

How can a clear look at a nearly 7 year old suit, we’ve all seen hundreds of times before be news?

I'm still waiting for the detailed look at the new Spiderman suit at the end. I want high definition grabs. Or concept art. I wanna see clearly what the new suit looks like. I've seen the movie twice and he's too flippy and fast to get a clear look.

@ElricReturns - I think that's the intention. Probably won't get a good look at it until the next one. Then they can spend time refining and making it look 100. It was very glossy and cgi looking

@ElricReturns - I saw someone on instagram make a pretty good render. Tried to look for it, but couldn't find it anymore

Side note: Did anyone else see NWH recently, feel like some of the CGI got updated since I saw it opening night. Anyone else feel the same or no?

@Dafoe - I read they did in the Goblin mocking Norman, Garfield's Spider-Man entering, and some other scenes
