Check Out Carnage's New Origin For ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN

The villainous Carnage will be coming to Disney XD's Ultimate Spider-Man on March 31st, and the animated series gives a drastic change to the character's origin.

Ultimate Spider-Man has been known for some pretty drastic changes to the source material (such as having Harry Osborn become Venom), and March 31st's episode of the Disney XD series could very well be the animated show's most controversial move yet. TV Line has a first look at the episode, titled "Carnage", which will see the series' debut of the villain of the same name. He will be "voiced" by Dee Bradley Baker (who also provides the voice of Lizard on Ultimate Spider-Man). The episode offers a new origin for Carnage, with the Green Goblin turning none other than (highlight to read) Peter Parker into the ferocious nemesis. Oh man, a good reason to leave a serial killer super villain out of the Disney/Marvel toon-verse...

Best thing to do is make a horror franchise outta Carnage on the big screen, maybe Venom too.

It's not that much of a drastic change. In the game Peter was Carnage and in the comics the Carnage symbiote came from Peters blood. The show still sucks though.

Peter himself was Carnage in the Ultimate Spider-Man videogame game, released in 2005.

i tried watching a few episodes but couldnt take the constant breaking the 4th wall and kid jokes...good animation though...Also I feel as if they are adding every single villian in the 1st 1.5 seasons, they introduced 6 villians then the sinister 6 on the 6th episode...The original animated spider man took a few seasons b4 going that route it had a lot of build up. But hey atleast disney/marvel gave it episodes unlike young justice

This show is so trollin the fans. It's just having fun taking the piss, now, really.
I personally don't have a problem with this. I really liked The Spider from the Exiles and that was basically Peter Parker as Carnage.

The Lizard, Doc Oct, Luke Cage look horrible. Kiddy ass jokes and 4th Wall? Who the [frick] is White Tiger? Teenage versions of adult super heroes? Harry Osborne is Venom? "KO-ing" every villian? I officially hate this show now...

I actually like the show. The animation is good, and its very fast pace. Its not by any means better than spectacular but its still ok. Its kid friendly so me and my daughter can watch, and enjoy, without me having to explain every little thing.

Ultimate Carnage in the comics was a failed experiment from Doctor Connors from a mix of his and Peter's blood samples (mixing the Lizard and Spider). The thing grew into this unstable, ferocious clone of Peter that had to take the life from others for itself. It killed Gwen Stacey.

Later, in the Ultimate Clone Saga, Doc Ock made various failed clones of Peter for the government or something. One of those experiments was actually a clone of Gwen Stacey who still had a piece of Carnage inside her; she became the new Carnage. Eventually, Venom absorbed that from her and now she's normal.

Also, yes, in the video game Ultimate Spider-Man, exactly this happened. Adrien Thoomes and Boliver Trask experimented on Peter, turned him into Carnage by merging him with the Venom suit. Venom then beat him and absorbed Carnage from him as well.

It's funny how people hate on this show when it's actually pretty true to ITS source material, i.e. ULTIMATE Spider-Man. If you don't like those comics, then you won't like this show and shouldn't even bother watching.

fine by me. this cartoon already does way more things i don't like, this isn't one of them. he was basically venom at first so i don't see that much of a problem with this.

@LEVITIKUZ your wrong though its not Peter, Connors took the venom suit and injected with peters and his own DNA. It has peters memories and feeds off of people's energy almost like a vampire. That's how it killed gwen, it remembered were Peter lives and it hid around his house then when gwen came home it killed her. Next time I suggest you do your research.

I dislike this show, and words can't convey my complete hatred for Carnage as a character (I have despised him from day one), so if this show wants to do anything to screw up Carnage as a character, all I can do is sit on the sidelines and do my best Nelson Muntz laugh. Two things that suck that suck worse together! As for the show in general, I've got better things to do on Sunday morning than watch a show that just annoys the hell out of me every time I try to watch it. This one is strictly for little kids, and I hope they discover some of the great comics and great shows of Spidey's that are out there.

@LEVITIKUZ that wasn't peter is was sorta his clone, kurt connors took peter's dna, his own dna and mixed it with a sample of the venom symbiote. It turned into carnage and went back to peter's home as it had his memories, gwen just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and was killed by carnage. Peter eventually fights it and defeats it. It later comes back as gwen stacy for some reason
