Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors has had kind of a wacky schedule this season, but it looks like we should start seeing new episodes soon as Disney XD has just released a new sneak peek.

Spider-Man learns just how strong Ant-Man really is when confronts him one on one!

Marvel's most popular super hero, Spider-Man, swings into a new season in "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors," premiering SUNDAY, AUGUST 31 (9:00 a.m. ET) on the Marvel Universe programming block on Disney XD. Accompanied by Nova, Iron Fist, Power Man and White Tiger, Spider-Man and the team take on dangerous S.H.I.E.L.D. missions and encounter some of their most thrilling adventures yet.

The new season begins with Spider-Man accepting an invitation to become an Avenger. Alongside Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Falcon, everyone’s favorite web-head gets one step closer to becoming the Ultimate Spider-Man!

Presented in a multi-episode story format, "Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors" not only pairs Spidey with the Avengers, but introduces new heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe such as Agent Venom, a new Iron Spider Amadeus Cho, Cloak & Dagger, and Ka-Zar. Additionally, for the first time in animation history, Miles Morales teams up with Spider-Man for a new adventure and he’s not the only Spidey that Peter Parker will encounter in this action-packed season.

Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors features:
Drake Bell as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson
J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson
Tara Strong as Mary Jane Watson
Ogie Banks as Luke Cage/Power Man
Greg Cipes as Danny Rand/Iron Fist

Probably the worst Marvel cartoon I have ever watched.
Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes and The Spectacular Spider-Man need to come back on.

Gotta love that synergy.

I think part of the reason I can't get into Ultimate Spider-Man is that the tone feels off somehow. It's as if it wants to be a serious show, but it also wants to have the kind of kiddie humor you might find in something like Teen Titans Go! The difference is, Teen Titans Go! fully commits, so it's easier to like it (or hate it) for what it is. USM just feels uneven. One second, it's super serious, the next someone's getting a pie to the face.

Agreed this cartoon is f ucking awful. Spectacular was much better.

It's how you go from this:

@ManCalledSting Fair enough, I can respect that opinion. The fanbase (including myself) liked it because it really stood on its own as a Spider-man show. There was great storytelling, overarching plot threads, well-developed characters, it was a more mature show, and had ZERO reliance on Avengers or team ups to help the show stand on two legs.

@ManCalledSting, then you really didn't watch the show too intently. When it first came on I wasnt a fan of the art either. But the writing and the story is what kept me coming back. Greg Weisman put so much care and attention to detail into the show that every person who had a speakin line in the show carried some weight in the Spider-Man mythos.

If you didn't like the art, that's your own hang up. But what made Spectacular Spider-Man so great was that it wasn't just a cash grab like Ultimate is. It was meant to be a show that parents and their kids could watch together. Ultimate is strictly an ADD raddled mesh of stupidity that could care less about Peter Parker.

@ManCalledSting dude, spectacular spiderman had a more engaging story, it was that type of show that did its own thing while staying faithful to the source material. It also had a none forced humor tone, ultimate spiderman is more of a kids show compared to this with little faith to the serious comic series it's supposed to be based on. Spectacular spiderman actually gave the fans what they wanted. Ultimate spiderman only gets a bunch of cameos

@ManCalledSting hahaha I made sure to marathon that show before they removed it. Cheesy as hell at some points, but still had amazing, memorable moments. Hobgoblin, Kingpin, and of course, the iconic Venom storyline.

Definitely won't be able to look back on this show that way...

I just noticed that J.K. Simmons dubs J.J. Jameson in this cartoon.

@KurtCrawler Obviously, you've never watched Hulk and the Agents of SMASH. Now that's a bad show...
MattBellissimo
MattBellissimo - 3/26/2015, 5:37 AM
@Verzwei Yup, and even that can't save it.

All of Marvel's cartoons are pretty awful now...although Avengers Assemble is probably the best of the lot...but that's not saying much.

@MattBellissimo

To be honest I'm glad they updated the animated Guardians look, as uninspired as it is. Anything is better than that trash Bendis interpretation (only Gamora and Drax look good in that shot).

EMH had the best/most faithful Guardians costumes.

Yeah, I haven't watched it. I am sure it is just as bad as Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble.

@MattBellissimo Avengers Assemble got better after Season 2, but I still can't watch it! LOL I just hope MARVEL ups their game and announces a new Animated Universe as good as EMH one.

@KurtCrawler Then don't watch it. It's far worse than anything anyone can handle!

Marvel really needs to do something about its current slate of cartoons. Stop forcing the MCU into these cartoons, cancel them and start over with a new batch of cartoons.

Marvel can we get a mature Marvel Animated Universe for your other audiences who are giving you all our money.

My dream would be to get a season 3 of Earths Mightiest Heroes on Netflix. Or give us more animated series in the vain of their Anime Marvel shows. I loved all of them.

@StreakOfBlue I am down with that title if we get web pits on the costume.

Come on Marvel web pits!
