Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be released on the PS4 and PS5 this November, and Marvel Comics has now revealed a series of variant covers tied to the highly anticipated video game.

What's particularly cool about these is that the artists behind them all worked on the game itself!

"Just as Marvel’s Spider-Man was a love letter to Peter Parker and his web-slinging alter-ego, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales celebrates every aspect of this break-out hero of a new generation," Marvel Games VP & head of creative Bill Rosemann tells Marvel.com.

"Continuing that tradition of authenticity, the teams at Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games have united to spotlight the amazing behind-the-scenes artists who are bringing this action-packed game to life. What’s especially meaningful about this series of variant covers is that, if viewed in a particular order, they showcase our collective commitment to storytelling."

Below, you'll find covers for Amazing Spider-Man #53.LR by Insomniac Games art director Jason Hickey, Amazing Spider-Man #53 by Marvel Games creative director Tim Tsang, Miles Morales: Spider-Man #21 by Insomniac Games senior concept artist Nicholas Schumaker, and Amazing Spider-Man #54 by Insomniac Games art director Gavin Goulden.

Rosemann concluded by teasing, "An entire saga in four images...with one more cover yet to be revealed!" These are all, well, spectacular, and a great way to hype Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

No news about Ms.Marvel comic book ending in January because of poor sales.

New Maestro limited series and Immortal Hulk one shot and the return of Iron Fist.

All these looks pretty damn cool, especially the first two. Question though, are these for regular comics or for game tie-ins?

@bkmeijer - Regular and variant covers. The story arc is still Kindred for ASM. In ASM he finds an "Outlawed" friend. in Miles he will be facing the older 616 Miles that wants to send him back to the Ultimate universe.

@Lostcause - Been quite of touch with the comics, so maybe this is a reason to pick up this series. The older Miles story sounds pretty interesting

@bkmeijer - It's wicked good right now. Him and Prowler(Aaron Davis) are on the run together and Ultimatum wants the entire family out of the 616. I'm really interested to see how Billie Morales fits into the next gen of Marvel Comics. Currently Miles, Cindy, Gwen, and Julia are possessed by the demonic Kindred's powers. Even Doctor Strand is vexed by theses powers and is attempting to take this on his own. Kindred has dug up every body that has died due to the choices Pete has made...He's not Harry, but if he is the son of Norman...It's Gabriel Stacy. kindred means, one's family and relations. But which family? Pete has the Parkers, Stacys, and Osborn connections, yet only related to the Parkers....Could be Ben or Richard? I think not. Norman has connections to the Stacy family by having twins with Gwen. Harry is still alive as we read in Venom:The Good Son. He would not have waited this long to go after Pete after running Parker Enterprises. He had many opportunities before now to do so. The only kindred relationship left, to me, is Gabriel Stacy. The last we read of him is in American Son #4, when Norman had him committed to a psych ward for his split personality disorder. Norman sent him the Helmet of the American Son armor and a letter stating "I love you". My theory would be, Gabriel commited suicide. The name of that run was call Amazing Spider-Man:Sins Past #509-#514. That fits the current story arc like a glove. Some think when you kill yourself, you go to Hell...That'd be a good place to fight the ranks and gain demonic powers and stew on how your father betrayed you and Spider-Man interfered in family affairs..? Time will tell. Miles Morales Spider-Man #20 and ASM #51LR come out this week.

@Lostcause - can't deny that I'm all caught up now. Guess I got no excuse to pick up the series

@bkmeijer - Both runs are driving me nuts. Most is spec, because they are just leaving bread crumbs and have dropped nothing definitive yet. Every issue leaves us hanging.

@Lostcause - if it has us wanting more, than it's all the better imo

Nice covers. Been out of the loop comics wise with Miles. I read the first 3 volumes of his Ultimate run and not much else. Any of his current stuff worth reading?
Can't wait to play this game. Might just get the PS4 version since getting a PS5 is near impossible to pre-order these days. Still can't decide on which one to get. I'm more of a disc guy but willing go digital if I can get a good external hard drive.
