As this a list of Superhero series, and not comic-book series(which I found harder to rank, especially this year), don't expect some of the TV shows . Let me know in the comments which actually showld have been included.

Honerable mentions:

Jessica Jones:

 
Well, in some sense Jessica Jones showld be actaually ranked, and not here. But, to me, from what the series has potrayed, I cannot see here as a superhero. She's just a person trying to make a living. She doesn't seem to care about any threats, unless its personal. 

Constantine:

 

Same reasons as above. Just a guy, using his knowledge abour magic, and wits, to make a living.


Now, lets move to the actual ranking.

7.Supergirl:

 
Now, this is a series that I think, I hate. Just watched the first 2 episodes, and hated it. Mellisa Benoist is the only positive I could think of, but even the character she's playing is very shallow. The tone is too cheesy, romance shoved unnecessarily, even villians are one dimensional. What is there to like?Will this show improve?Maybe I am judging too early. They gave fans this:

And people are liking this. So its not like there's no hope, but I am not expecting them to deliver.

6.Arrow:

 

This show, had an artrocious season 3 in 2015. And just a bearable season 4. My main complains were, many characters were ruined, acting out of characters without any explanation. Oliver is just a watered down hero now. Sure there are some improvements, but they are barely significant. Damien Dakh, is the only character actually shining each episode. 

But most importantly, this show has lost any signifance. After the Flash debuted, the only reason I am left for watching this mess of a show is becauseit is a part of a universe. And thats very much irritating and cumbersome. They have to step the game really higher, with Daredevil showing what they can do even with simple story. 

But one thing I loved in S3 was that three episodic Brick storyline arc.

I don't know if they were comic-book accurate or not, in his character. But the fact that he made heroes very desperate, made this arc compelling and great. If Arrow wishes to re-gain its past fame, this is the part they look for an inspiration. Hell this is also the way I wish Flsh would take.

5.Agent Carter:

 

They had the tone right, the story was good, the characters were great, the villians were great. But it wasn't anything exceptional. It was just good. And they never did anything big. But whatever they did with the material, they did it just right and perfectly.

4.Justice League: Gods and Monsters

I am more of an anime fan. But this show has some of the best writing and characterisation for a animated series. It not surprising that DC tends to do some great animated series. I havent completed the season yet, but idea of Justice League being potrayed in Shades of Grey actually got me hook me up. Here's me hoping that it improves.

3.Flash 

 

This show just didn't held anyback. It provided what other show didn't. Pure nerdgasmic fun.  Eobard Thawne was one of the best villians in CW verse. He had just as much complexity as any heroes in other shows.


But they totally dropped the balls on Barry Allen. He just an likable goofball, being dumbest superhero. I find his lack of character depth very disturbing. Add to the fact,  it's a procedural show done wrong, in my opinion. Again as I mentioned above, instead of being villain of he week, make it a seiealised, with each enemy lasting for few episodes. Cliche characters, generic played out storylines are also the points that I fell isn't considered in Flsh season 2. 

2.Daredevil:

This show was phenomenol. Obvoisly Wilson Fisk, was the highlight, but this show in my opinion, actually did one more thing other Superhero shows didn't do right:

• Minor villains were just as threatening as the main villain.
•  The hero and other 'good' characters were actually written very well

Also add some of the best fight scenes in any Superhero shows. This is the best live action Superhero series till date, which, it looks likde, will be only beaten by its succesor Daredevil season 2.
