Six more episodes remain in Smallville's seventh season before the Well of New Content runs dry (due to the WGA strike). The CW will air the first on Thursday, January 31.

In "Persona," the first new episode since mid-December, the real Clark (Tom Welling) remains frozen in the Fortress of Solitude, while Bizarro (also Welling) seeks the help of the newly-returned Milton Fine, a.k.a. Brainiac (James Marsters), to ensure he can stay "Clark" forever. Meanwhile Lionel Luthor (John Glover) learns that Daily Planet editor Grant Gabriel (Michael Cassidy) is a clone of his dead son, Julian. The episode features Superman movie alum Mark McClure (Jimmy Olsen).

The following week's segment, "Siren", introduces the DC Comics hero Black Canary to the Smallville universe. BC (Alaina Huffman of Painkiller Jane) is a vigilante in the employ of Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum), who convinces her that the Green Arrow (Justin Hartley) and his "Justice League" are terrorists. Sparks fly, as does BC's subsonic "canary cry." Meanwhile, Lois Lane (Erica Durance) discovers that Green Arrow is secretly her ex, Oliver Queen...AND she clashes with conservative talk show host Dinah Lance, the alter ego of Black Canary!
