GENERAL LANE AND LUCY LANE RETURN TO SMALLVILLE FOR THANKSGIVING - The General (guest star Michael Ironside) and Lucy Lane (Peyton List) decide to drop in on Lois (Erica Durance) and Clark (Tom Welling) for a surprise Thanksgiving dinner. Clark and the General get off to a rocky start after Lois’ father bashes the superheroes and tells Clark he is trying to pass a vigilante registration law. Meanwhile, in an effort to stop the vigilante registration act from being passed, Rick Flagg (guest star Ted Whittall) lies to Lucy in order to lure Clark away from the farm long enough for him to assassinate the General. Lois is torn between making her father proud and her love for Clark.

Hmmmm...Michael Ironside voiced Darkseid in the DCU animated series. They're trying to assassinate General Lane...played by Michael Ironside. Smallville Darkseid is a possessing force...What if he possessed that particular body in an effort to get to Clark? And then that body is killed and he's stuck in it...Michael ironside as Darkseid? FTW!!!!!

smallville ambush 10.7 - sounds to me that they're ambushing marvel storylines.

why pay the smallville writers to do their jobs & write somthing new & fresh,when they can just steal the ideas from someone elae.

if they want to steal some ideas,how about from dc & pick up some superman comics.

just an idea.....sad.

@spiderman620

You can't think all the ideas came from eachother DC has done this before staring in the seventies with the JSA disbanding from being outlawed by the government.

Marverl wasn't the first to do this idea. Watchmen, Dark Knight Returns, and JSA all used the before that, and "The Incredibles" borrowed the idea from Watchmen two years before Civil War. So no, they didn't break new ground. Still, doesn't sound like Smallville is breaking new ground either.
