Xenix Reviews: Smallville 200th Episode: Homecoming

I review the 200th episode.

Review Opinion

Well, the 200 episode anniversary is here. And, in my opinion,

IT IS SO. DAMN. GOOD.

I loved the interactions between Clark and Braniac 5, and the whole future sequence was spectacular. Clark meets Clark, and we see him in hall his inconspicuous-reporter glory. The relationship between Lois and Clark are simply perfect, especially the scene with the helicopter. Also, the scene where that one dude from the past seasons shows up and tells Lois he is thankful for what Clark did for him, was a simply wonderful thing. Clark really shed his past off his back, isn't fearing the future, and has taken a massive step forward to finally becoming the hero he was born to be.

And, yes, my fellow CBMers. In this episode, Clark flies. Kinda, but still, it's flying.

Well, there's my first episode review. So, feel free to comment, but no massive arguments.

yes it was a great episode....I put it in the top 3.....The scene where he meets himself in the elevator, great moment. And TW can pull off Clark Kent, now to see him in the suit. See how he handles that side.

Erica plays a classic Lois. The helicopter scene, homage to Superman 1 was classic

Great episode and the only problem I had was why would Bug Boy come to tell Lois that? I mean what if she didnt know Clark's secret. I feel that was rude but I like that he's a good guy now. And I loved how they copied the returns scene at the ending. When she steps on his feet and he flies. Great scene and great episode with no flaw

Best Episode of the season so far for sure, and definitely in my top 10. The Future scene was classic. Although I don't like the fact that Clark didn't even try to attack Brainiac. I just find that weird, but it was amazing. 5 stars from me!

@ thabatman - are you referring to the very beginning when he saw Brainiac? if so he was just feeling out what was going on, if it was reality, dream, illusion. It was cool for me.

And yes this episode was a classic. I'm surprise that none of the bitches who bitch about the show haven't come on here to bitch and complain, not accept reality that the show is what it is. Perhaps they don't know a "review" section exists here.

Also TW as Clark Kent of the future did look sharp, to me he can pull it off and should get a shot at reading for MOS. But let's see how he looks and portrays Supes when he has the actual suit on.

I think the episode was FREAKING INSANELY AMAZINGLY AWESOME!! Possibly one of the best ever! TW DID pull off the future Clark thing well! Looked MUCH different than he normally did! The way he flew in end (screw it, it's flying!) was such a sweet scene. I think there's a few other guys here who said something similar, it brings out the chick flick lover in us! Saying goodbye to Jonathan, telling Lois that he loves her. One of my favorite scenes was the cutaway to him in the crown. That was hillarious!

Also the question Lana asks Clark in the first episode after seeing his book about "Nietzsche" was just classic. It ties it up so well!

GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAT EPISODE!!

Also, I dunno if any of you saw or not, but Tom Welling was the highest voted actor to play Supes in the movie by EW magazine!

@ thedunkenknight - the king of the dance was funny but I can't stop laughing when Lois knocked the pilot out so he wouldn't see it was Clark lol.

@ Xenix - nah it's the last time, last season. Either he'll be part of MOS or not it's the last.

Again it was a great show and totally different from the others.

He looks the part as future Clark.

As far as Erica, this chic, she plays an excellent Lois.

I thought it was fantastic. Welling's performance as future Clark Kent showed that he deserves consideration for the title role in Zack Snyder's reboot. :)

@Blueorangeny

Yeah I understand that, but I mean I would think he would like at least grab him out of anger or something considering the past. It was still great though

Based on the future Clark Kent, I'd consider Welling for the movie role...
