Four years after its initial release, Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, a reboot of the eponymous character's film series and launching pad of the DC Extended Universe, continues to stir up controversy amongst its core audience. Some, most notably the likes of Kevin Smith and Angry Joe, have praised it as an exciting, risk-taking reinvention of a superhero whose core attributes, at least to them, feel a bit dated. Others, like film review channels Red Letter Media and Ralph the Movie Maker, have declared it an assault on the senses that betrays everything that made the character iconic and worth revisiting to begin with.
However, up until this point, popular editorial channel Wisecrack have only served up morsels of their Man of Steel opinions in video reviews for Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad (to my memory). Now, they've come out with a full video detailing their thoughts and opinions on the schismatic picture.
