First things first - if you haven't seen the finale of The Flash yet and don't want it spoiled for you - not only should you stop reading this article now, but you may just want to avoid the internet entirely until you watch it.  You've been warned.

Now, on to the fun stuff...

In the last few minutes of the The Flash season finale, we see Barry running up a building and into a wormhole to try to save Central City and the rest of the planet from being sucked inside.  There have already been a few tidbits dropped that the next season of The Flash will continue to explore time travel, interdimensional travel, Earth Two, more speedsters, etc.

One thought that crossed my mind regarding the bit about interdimensional travel - introducing this concept to this show essentially opens the doors to anyone and everyone from anywhere within the entire DC Universe to show up on The Flash's TV show.  And of course, the Flash could show up on anyone else's show, much like he's done on Arrow.

So... character crossovers... time travel... interdimensional travel... part of me wonders if DC just found a way to tie all of it's television shows across all the networks together?  In addition to crossing-over on Arrow, could the CW's Flash now potentially show up on ABC's Gotham?  Or CBS' upcoming Supergirl?  And if so, do we, the fans, really want them to?  As much as I enjoy the idea of the Flash meeting a 10-year-old Batman, there's probably a multitude of contractual barriers that would prevent this happening.  So, highly unlikley, but still fun to think about... your thoughts?
