Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder is now in theaters, and while there are plenty of secrets to unpack, we wanted to break down one of the film's coolest aspects: all of the major cameos.

After Ragnarok, we knew going in that this film would be packed to the brim with surprise guest stars, and Love and Thunder certainly didn't disappoint in that regard. We saw plenty of familiar and unfamiliar faces pop in and out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with some setting up fantastical new adventures, and others little more than blink-and-you'll-miss-it type appearances.

In our review, we said, "Thor: Love and Thunder is Marvel Studios’ most heartful and emotionally satisfying film to date, with absolutely rockstar performances from its cast. After years of tragedy and torment, filled with loss and solitude, Thor finally gets to be happy and we can't help but smile and celebrate with the strongest Avenger in his most important hour. He's all grown up and has become the God he was always destined to be, full of Love and Thunder."

Click on the "Next" button down below to get the details on all of the major cameos!

15. The Guardians of the Galaxy

While the Guardians were featured in marketing, their screentime in the movie is limited, and we would say they were really more extended cameos than anything else. Regardless, Waititi reassembled Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper for what will be their first of three MCU outings in the next twelve months.

14. Jeff Goldblum, Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey

Jeff Goldblum and Peter Dinklage reportedly shot scenes with Christian Bale, but both were cut from the theatrical version. Why Gorr would've sought out Goldblum's Grandmaster is uncertain (unless he was trying to get a beat on Thor's trail), but we can understand why Gorr would be looking for Eitri, since he was the one who originally forged Stormbreaker.

We know nothing of Lena Headey's cameo, which makes us think Marvel Studios may be saving her for something else. As for what the role could've been, that's tough to say, but we wouldn't rule out Enchantress just yet.

13. Stephen Curry and Indiana Evans

No, not that Stephen Curry.

Australian actor/comedian Stephen Curry (The KingHounds of Love) made an appearance as King Yakan during Thor's introductory scene, while Australian actress/model Indiana Evans (Blue Lagoon: The AwakeningAsh vs Evil Dead) also made a brief cameo as a Zeusette.

12. Simon Russell Beale and Akosia Sabet

English actor Sir Simon Russell Beale cameos as Dionysus during the Omnipotence City scene, while actress Akosia Sabet appears as another God named Bast.

Bast is a Psychopomp goddess worshipped in Wakanda and Ancient Egypt. While this is her first appearance, she was previously mentioned in Captain America: Civil WarBlack Panther, and Eternals

11. Jaimie Alexander

Unlike the Warriors Three, Sif managed to get out of this Thor movie alive, albeit without an arm. With Alexander now back on New Asgard, it's fair to wonder whether we could see more of her in the not-so-distant future.

10. Taika Waititi

While he was already the voice and mo-cap performer for Korg, Waititi also made a sneaky cameo as the Old Kronan God, Nini of the Noni, during the Omnipotence City sequence, where he interacted with himself as Korg.

9. Daley Pearson

Thor's old roommate Darryl made a quick cameo as a tour guide when Jane (Natalie Portman) first visits the broken Mjolnir. This would seemingly suggest that the Team Thor and Team Darryl one-shots are now canon in the MCU.

8. Jonathan Brugh

Waititi's What We Do in the Shadows co-star Jonathan Brugh appears as a God named Rapu during the Omnipotence City sequence.

7. Elsa Pataky, Tristan Hemsworth & Sasha Hemsworth

It was a family affair for leading man Chris Hemsworth as his wife Elsa Pataky made a quick appearance as Wolf Woman, who made out with Thor on top of a wolf. This would be the second time she's cameoed in a Marvel movie, after previously doubling for Jane Foster during Thor: The Dark World.

Their twin eight-year-old sons Tristan and Sasha also made appearances, with Tristan playing Kid Thor and Sasha playing one of the kidnapped Asgardian kids.

6. Taika Waititi, Christian Bale & Natalie Portman's children

Director Taika Waititi's daughters Te Kainga O Te Hinekahu Waititi and Matewa Kiritapu Waititi were among the kidnapped Asgardian children with Christian Bale's daughter Luka and son Rex, and Natalie Portman's children Aleph and Amalia.

The family of producer Brad Winderbaum - Briegh, Mayzie and Izaac - also made cameos as ship tourists.

5. Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth, Sam Neill, Melissa McCarthy & Ben Falcone

Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth, and Sam Neill returned for an encore performance as Actor Loki, Actor Thor, and Actor Odin, respectively, with Damon and Hemsworth actually appearing in two scenes this time.

Real-life husband-wife duo Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone joined them, with McCarthy playing Actor Hela and Falcone playing an Asgardian Stage Manager.

4. Kat Dennings & Stellan Skarsgård

Natalie Portman wasn't the only returning cast member, as both Kat Dennings and Stellan Skarsgård reprised their roles as Darcy Lewis and Erik Selvig, respectively, from previous Thor films. Lewis pays Foster a visit during a chemo session while Selvig appears a short while later during a video call.

3. Brett Goldstein

Thor: Love and Thunder comes to a close with the introduction of Ted Lasso breakout star Brett Goldstein as Hercules, and it sounds like he'll soon have his sights set on Thor. Whether we see the pair duel it out in a Thor 5 or in another movie remains to be seen, but it should be well worth the wait.

The scene also shows Russell Crowe's Zeus for who he really is, and it seems like this won't be the last we see of him as he seeks his vengeance on the God of Thunder.

2. Idris Elba

After being tragically killed in Avengers: Infinity War, Idris Elba reprised his fan-favorite role as Heimdall one last time during the film's touching post-credits scene, where he greeted Jane Foster as she arrives in Valhalla. A beautiful farewell for these two longtime MCU heroes.

Kieron L. Dyer (Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey) plays Heimdall's son Astrid, a.k.a. Axl, while Eliza Matengu (Jack Irish) plays his character's widow Grace.

1. India Rose Hemsworth

In arguably the film's best-kept secret, Hemsworth's daughter India plays a character named Love, the daughter of Gorr, who is resurrected by Eternity in the film's closing moments.

Then, in Jane and Gorr's dying moments, Thor promises both that he'll look after Love and we later see the pair living together, with Love calling him Uncle Thor. This should hopefully lead to some thunderous adventures for the duo in the future.

SPOILERS

I’ve completely checked out on Disneys Marvel! Everything is a [frick]ing joke, there can’t be one serious moment in these films. There is also over the top progressiveness like why the kids can pick up Stormbreaker. Underutilization of a villain with at least a decent motivation and the greatest actors of our time. Setting up other movies gets repetitive. There’s a need to sell toys, use spectacle and comedy to make these movies good. You literally have to turn off your brain to enjoy this film. It’s starting to lose it’s cinema taste and they are really just making nice looking popcorn flicks

@Luigi -

It parts it was awful, in other parts I really liked it. I'm not sure the last two scenes redeem it though.

One thing I really DISLIKED about this movie was Thor's total passiveness to danger and collateral damage. The way he destroyed the temple of those blue aliens was kind of [frick]ed up. Its something Thor would've done and shrugged off pre-banishment. The whole point of that Thor 2011 was him learning to actually be considerate of others. Then he called the Bifrost inside of the New Asgard Town Hall and just [frick]ed up the ceiling.

Lastly, Valkyrie was playing with his nose as he was trying to convey to the kidnapped children that everything would be alright despite them being in real mortal danger.

This movie took actual character development for Thor and said [frick] it.
