Christopher Eccleston Wanted To Put A Gun In His Mouth Every Day Shooting THOR: THE DARK WORLD

That's not the worst thing the former Doctor Who actor says either as he tears into G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and makes it clear he won't be returning to that world or the Marvel Cinematic Universe...

Christopher Eccleston has never shied away from making his feelings about Thor: The Dark World clear and in another new interview, the British actor has once again expressed his hatred for the movie. It's not the only blockbuster to come under fire, though, as he also tears into the critically panned G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. That scored bad reviews but performed moderately well at the box office, while the Thor sequel was far from rotten and actually ended up being a fairly sizeable hit for Marvel Studios.

"Working on something like G.I. Joe was horrendous," Eccleston said, reflecting on his role as lead villain Laird James McCullen XXIV, a.k.a. Destro. "I just wanted to cut my throat every day. And Thor? Just a gun in your mouth." So, it's fair to say he wasn't a fan of either of these projects then.

"Gone in 60 Seconds was a good experience," he added, making it clear that not all of his Hollywood experiences have been bad. "Nic Cage is a gentleman and fantastic actor. But G.I. Joe and Thor were… I really paid for being a whore those times." These comments are definitely interesting but is there more to them than meets the eye? After all, it's feasible that Eccleston is bitter over the fact he essentially failed in Hollywood and no longer appears to be getting any offers from major studios.

C'mon Chris, it could have been worse: you could have been in "Ragnarok".

@MinoMininni - Yeah, not sure how Eccleston would have performed in a slap-stick comedy!

@Urubrodi - We all know how this is going to be: I'll reply "No, it's awful", and you'll say "No, it's awesome!" and so on and so forth.
Let's leave it this way. You like superhero turned into idiotic buffoons, I prefer them when they're taken a little bit seriously, like in "Black Panther" or in the "Captain America" movies.

@MinoMininni - Dude don't assume what types of movies I like. I love Black Panther and the Winter Soldier, but I also really Like Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy. I think the MCU has space for both serious movies and comedies, and I love that. If you don't like that up to you, your opinion. But making a comment like that I guess you knew some people would disagree.

@MinoMininni - i agree, that Thor Ragnarok was more Comedic. I also didn't like Taika Waititi voicing of Korg. That's because the Planet Hulk story line is a great piece of work in comics. AND IT'S NOT A COMEDY. But at least it's the best of the 3 films, and still a damn fine movie. Thor should have been more serious and dramatic in tone. A la Gladiator in all 3 films.

@Urubrodi - Ragnarok has a better story than Black Panther.

There, I said it.

I don't remember much about TDK, I think it's the only MCU movie that I've watched only once. I have it, I just never felt like watching it again.
