Let's get this out of the way, Bumblebee is the Transformers movie we deserve. The film, which is now the number one movie at the international box office, has delivered a fresh new take on the franchise, one with lovable characters and a whole lot of potential for great sequels. But when all is said and done, the spinoff may not be profitable enough for a sequel, so if you haven't seen it - What are you waiting for!?
Serving as a soft reboot of the franchise, Bumblebee still values some of the mythos and base designs Michael Bay established - Sector Seven included. In the series, the face of that government organisation has always been John Turturro's Agent Simmons. Appearing in all of Bay's films, save for Age of Extinction, the character has always been someone the protagonists turned to. And while John Cena's Agent Burns has taken the mantle in Bumblebee, Simmons still appears in a small capacity.
During a scene inside the Sector Seven headquarters, an agent is seen briefing Cena's Burns for a fleeting moment, quickly exiting the frame. It is clear that the Agent is an inferior during this exchage, but a close watcher will be able to spot the Agent's nametag: Simmons. It is unclear whether there is potential for a younger iteration of the character down the line, but knowing this is a reboot, it is unlikely the agent would keep consistant with his Bay counterpart. If you're looking for a reason to watch Bumblebee again, this is the opportunity.
