AQUAMAN Is Now Officially The Highest Grossing DCEU Movie Globally And Internationally
The latest box office updates reveal that Bumblebee amassed $82.7 million in 63 foreign markets this weekend, toppling Aquaman's four-week reign at No. 1 overseas. This was thanks, in large part, to a strong showing in China, where the Transformers spin-off took in a very impressive $59.4 million over the course of its first weekend on release.
Bumblebee now sits at $289 million worldwide, so it still has a long way to go before it troubles Aquaman's current global total of $940 million. Yes, The King of Atlantis' first solo outing should join the $1 billion club in a matter of days.
