Every hero has a beginning and this Christmas, Paramount Pictures is taking us back to the the '80s to tell the origin of one of the most beloved Transformers of all-time: Bumblebee.

While plot details remain mostly under wraps, the recent trailer did reveal that the fan-favorite Autobot will be on a mission (from Optimus Prime) to protect Earth from a devastating Decepticon invasion and he'll be joined on his epic quest by Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld), a teenager that finds herself in for the adventure of a lifetime - and in way over her head - just days after her eighteenth birthday.

This film actually looks good and entertaining. Will definitely give it a watch when it hits theaters.

Only Transformers I enjoyed was the first one, this feels like that but better.

@Menks123 - I with you 100% on that was never into transformers but I like the firsts and stopped watching them halfway thru the second but this one looks a lot better probably cause bay isn’t directing It so it might have a plot And action that makes sense

@Spidey91 - lets appreciate Bee's design: you can actually tell what's supposed to be what. he has armor on top of his internal mechanisms, not a bunch of exposed wires, tubes and metal.

This just proves that a good story with emotional beats can turn a franchise around - let’s hope the movie delivers on the promise made in the trailer

I would be cool with two more after this one that takes place on cybertron that ends where TF1 begins.

@JizzerTron - Even better would be if TF1 never happens and they make this a hard reboot.

@TheIronDuck - I’m not sure how they just ignore all those movies but if they can find a way to reboot from this movie forward then great. I don’t see a way though.

Yesterday I‘ve watched The Last Knight, wow what a bad movie, even worse than Transformers 4, bad story, bad humor, bad special effects, bad characters, this movie has more than one „Jar Jar Binks“, Michael Bay‘s worst movie

@IcemanX - yup, it was terrible in numerous ways. I liked the series through the third film. After that it got real bad real fast. Shame.
