We weren't treated to a new trailer for Bumblebee during Comic-Con so it feels like we've been waiting a very long time for this latest sneak peek. Luckily, it more than makes up for the delay as we get a much better idea what to expect from the highly anticipated spinoff, including a visit to Cybertron, a location loved by fans which Michael Bay's instalments mostly only alluded to over the years.

We also get appearances from a number of Autobots and Decepticons, not to mention a much better idea of what Bee will be up against during this adventure (John Cena looks set to be a highlight).

According to the official synopsis for the Transformers spinoff: "On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken.  When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug."

Bumblebee is produced by Transformers franchise veterans Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Michael Bay, along with executive producers Steven Spielberg, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian. Chris Brigham will also produce. The screenplay is written by Christina Hodson and directed by Travis Knight.

The movie stars Hailee Steinfeld, Pamela Adlon, John Cena, Stephen Schneider, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Drucker, Kenneth Choi, Ricardo Hoyos, Abby Quinn, Rachel Crow, and Grace Dzienny. What do you guys think of the new poster? Let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section.

Still not sure I'll see it in the theater, but it does look like a major improvement.

I like what I see.
Cybertron, G1 designs, Triple Changers.
[frick], this is what a Transformers movie should look like.

Amazing trailer and visual. And the characters are likeable too.

However awesome the trailer may be, I'm offended that the synopsis ends like this:
"When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns that this is no ordinary yellow Volkswagen."
Rather than like this..
"When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns that there's more to this yellow Volkswagen than meets the eye."

This actually looks pretty good. Love the designs and the action looks well put together and shot. Hailee seems like she's done a good job and Angela Bassett sounds great

Wow.

I can ACTUALLY tell what the hell is going on during those fight scenes.

@SKetCH - I never understood how this wasn't a bigger complaint. Unless it was Optimus or Bumblebee fighting I literally wouldn't know who was winning a fight.

@OmegaBlack13 -
It should have been a bigger issue for more people.
Though, there is crazy detail in those fights and I used to look forward to watching them in HD on my phone screen where I could REALLY see the detail and have an easier time discerning who was who in a fight.

But this... bring on the colorful bulk!!
