Paramount has released a new trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight, which places the focus on Isabela Moner's debuting character, while also showcasing some exciting shots of robot destruction.

A second trailer for Michael Bay's Transformers: The Last Knight has hit the web, providing us with some action-packed new footage of the ongoing war between the The Autobots and The Decepticons.

This time, the Arthurian subplot takes a backseat, as we focus on the returning Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yaeger, and the tough young character played by Isabela Moner.

Transformers: The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).

Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters on June 23.

@JakeofAllTrades - Half those shots looked the same as the last movie! I guess they save on CGI and modelling if they just use the same stuff... boring tho.

It looks sooooooooo bad. Like, worse than the other movies, which were already 4 levels below shit.

I love female superheros/ fightters etc. Most of my favourite characters are female (and im male).

But what I hate is when film studios go over the top with "we made her a strong female character" which they seem to think that in this day and age is a novel idea (and that they should get a pat on the back).

Yes there should be strong female characters as should there be female characters that are "weak" (the same for male characters). To make ever female a "badass" dilutes the effect of having such a character. There is nothing wrong with having a female character who would run and hide from a giant killing robot (I myself would do the same thing in her position).

@BatmanxBatgirl - Thats a great example. She was a great character with amazing action sequences. But no one in the film had made a deal out of her badassery simply because she was a girl, they made a deal of her because she was badass character.

@Nasseal82isback - This my point thank you. At the time of these films especially alien. To have a strong female protagonists was rare at the time. Hence it was a novel idea and worthy of marketing and inspiring women and girls.

Thats not to say Rey, Widow, X-23 are any less badass than these characters (I love them all) but to market them as their only trait is they are "strong females" (which can obviouslysinspire little girls today) just doesnt have the same impact on culture as characters like Riply did back then.

Pretty much.

The strongest female characters dont constantly talk about why they are strong. Often they are actually hurt quite often or simply do the smart thing, even if it seems cowardly. It's because they get hurt and continue that they are strong.
